Picked up these two championship rings yesterday for being the team writer for the Huron Heights Warriors football teams last year. The junior Warriors won their provincial @BowlJunior And the senior Warriors won their @OFSAAFootball bowl game. @warriors_fbc

My first published article in a newspaper was back in October of 1980. That means my writing career has now reached 46 years. I've saved every single media pass - more than 700 of them -I got over those years. #journalism #writing

Educate yourself about #OrangeShirtDay and the #NationalDayforTruthandReconciliation. I've been very fortunate in recent years to have the majority of my articles published in #Indigenous publications.

10 years after their last concert the @thehipofficial are still Ahead By A Century. #TheTragicallyHip youtube.com/watch?v=n8ffSi2d…

Looking forward to my next major project - writing separate feature stories on the 39 First Nations that are part of @AnishNation #Indigenous #FirstNations #Anishinabek

Being a writer I support print journalism and buy as many newspapers as I can. A sampling from my current east coast travels. #newspapers #printjournalism #journalism

Excited to announce I'll be the @GTHLHockey rep for the @OHFHockey Under 18 AA tournament, which will be held Apr. 16-19 in Kitchener. #gthl #hockey #ontariochampionship #provincials

50 years later and his @NHL record still stands. The @MapleLeafs will be honouring their former captain Darryl Sittler for his 10-point game, way back in 1976. Years later I teamed up with Darryl to write his story on The Game I'll Never Forget series for Hockey Digest.
