Following the 9/11 attacks I left the Mission Mountains of Montana and went into Leesburg Virginia recruiters offices. On this day 24 years ago I officially joined the US Army.

There are only 10 days left until Election Day, and the Montana Secretary of State's Office reports voters have returned 177,000 absentee ballots to county election offices as of today October 24, 2026.
Roughly 575,000 Ballots were sent out to Montana Voters. A little over 30% of all Absentee Ballots have been returned which is historically LOW Voter Turnout in Montana at this time in the elections process. Voter turnout is expected to pick up in the next week as GOTV heats up.
Been a very odd election season in Montana. Our Governor has been absent traveling heavily in India and Sri Lanka. Our US Senator has been in Poland. The Chief executive of Butte has been in Israel and several other officials across the state are overseas or planning to be in several nations.
Meanwhile several Lawfare and political moves have been made to silence dissent, examination, questions or investigation by grassroots leaders.

Two weeks until Election Day. Turnout remains low in Montana as 20% of Montana Voter Absentee Ballots are turned in. I encourage all Veterans to vote and remember we did not serve to be silenced.
Secondly, as of today it appears the data shows a Republican loss in the House of Representatives and a narrow hold in the US Senate. I forecast some changes in Montana legislature. Other than that nobody has a crystal ball all we can observe is data, trends and voter turnout.
Third, it appears there is deep voter anger and some will not turn out. At the same time it appears most prices have stabilized including Fuel which is very important. 🇺🇸🦅

Election Day in 15 days!
Did a lot of thinking about facing pain and suffering in prison and then a great sermon today on this topic at my home church. Why is there Evil & Suffering in this world? Why do bad things happen to good people? There are 5 answers Biblically:
1) Spiritual Evil exists. Satan, demons, principalities and powers do come after us in this life. There are supernatural realities and entities that are very real. Acts 10:38.
2) Other people’s sins, follies, and negligence. Family, friends and colleagues that are lying, stealing and cheating could get you hit with the shrapnel. Be very wary who you surround yourself with. Genesis 50:20.
3) Our own sin, folly, rebellion and negligence can cause serious pain and suffering. There are consequences to sin and rebellion. Proverbs 19:3
4) Gods discipline and correction. Hebrews 12:5-6. A loving Heavenly Father corrects us to help us from forfeiting our salvation and disciplines us to correct our ways. Sanctification is important as we prepare for Heaven.
5) Disease, Disaster and accidents in a sinful world. Romans 8:20-21. Those are 5 categories Biblically that answer the WHY -
There is Hope if we receive the word of God so we don’t have to anguish in the why we can rest in trusting a sovereign God and His plan and purpose in our lives .
We have to fully trust the Lord with our lives. All we can control in this life is our response to pain and suffering.
Trust and accept the Lord Jesus Christ today. I do thank God for all that is happening to me because I trust His plan and understand His way is higher than my way.
