Post walk snooze or should I say snore 💤

Morning all. Lovely walk with Ted this morning despite the rain. Just been to open the greenhouse & can’t quite believe there are still dahlias in bloom. Have a super day everyone 😊

Of all my photographs of Ted, this is my favourite. Finally got around to enlarging & framing.

The Bergenias are in bloom again!

Still some peppers growing in the unheated greenhouse

The evening sky. Hopefully it will be another lovely autumn day tomorrow.

That’s the sun bubble cleared out & taken down for another year. I always feel a little sad as it means no more fresh tomatoes.

A lovely autumn day here today. Hoping to get the grass cut & tidy up a bit. Have a super day everyone 😊

Dahlias still blooming. They really are a joy.

The centre of the lower garden in all it’s autumnal glory

The wind has finally dropped so it’s safe for Ted & I to venture into the garden to do some tidying up. Lots of lovely leaves on the paths which are now in the mulching nets. Gardeners gold!

Despite being battered by the strong winds, rose Olivia Austin is determined to produce some last blooms.

What an amazing rose Zephirine Drouhin is. Blooms this late which have survived the stormy weather. The scent is wonderful.

Morning all. It’s the tail end of the storm so I’ve been out in the garden to check on damage. Quick temporary fixes to support roses & plants battered by the strong winds. A few runner beans & tomatoes are a surprising bonus. Lots for green chutney. Have a super day everyone 😊

Despite a late start, the cosmos are still putting on a show
