If you extrapolate our goals conceded across an entire season at the current rate, we’re on course to let in 90. Only one team have conceded that many in the Premier League since we were promoted in 2013, that was Sheffield United in 2023/24 and they finished bottom on 16 points.

Yep. It’s literally both but the idea that we should persevere with a guy that’s failing in these conditions is silly. We have conceded 24 goals in 12 games… and we play an extra defender every week.

Sage has been let down MASSIVELY but he’s also failed. He’s not shown enough potential to fix the clear problems there are. Real shame, who knows if his ideas would’ve worked with appropriate recruitment.

There is no way you can convince me Sarr is a fitness issue. Starts in Lyon, no minutes at Brighton, 15 mins in Besiktas, and now out the squad entirely. You can tell me he’s been shit but he’s hardly been able to play into any kind of form! Sage has beef with him.
