The last two years have been a bit of a rebirth for the Pendleton Heights football team, and one reason why is senior tight end/edge Sam Behrendt.

Week 8. Pendleton Heights 42 Yorktown 33.
It was an emotional week for the HHC as we lost our friend Chris Wilson of Yorktown. It was also Senior Night for @PendletonHtsFB. Proud of both teams for coming out ready to play and especially proud of my guys for getting the W to improve to 7-1.
Huge shoutout to the Arabians O-Line who dominated the trenches and allowed me to rush for a career high 200 yards on 14 carries (14.3 avg) and throw two TDs to @Sambehrendt87. You guys are the real MVPs 💚

2028 TE/DE Sam Behrendt and Pendleton Heights(IN) beat Yorktown(IN) 42-33 Friday Night.
Behrendt's Game 4 stats:
2 Rec - 59 Yards - 2 TDs
The most impressive part about Behrendt's game to me is his blocking. He is often the lead blocker and clears lanes for the RBs.
Yes he is a great RedZone threat, but having a TE who clears so much space with his blocks just amplifies an offense.
At 6'4" 225Ibs he is a tough receiver to bring down.
