They are actually trying to justify an American WaPo journalist being severely beaten by a mob of settler terrorists.

The facts surrounding the confrontation near Abu Falah, during which Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine was allegedly assaulted, remain unclear and are under investigation.
Israel unequivocally condemns violence against anyone—Jews, Arabs, Christians or journalists. Those responsible will be held accountable.
But serious questions remain. Reports indicate some 200 Arabs and far-left activists confronted approximately 40 Israeli youths. Footage shows masked individuals on both sides hurling objects, amid reports of fireworks fired at Jewish youths. Other footage appears to show Levine knocked down and immediately helped to her feet by the same unidentified individual.
The investigation must establish the facts, including who initiated the violence.
We will not allow disputed incidents to be exploited to demonize the hundreds of thousands of law-abiding Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria.
The facts must determine the conclusions. Not the headlines.

Ben Gvir has been incessantly posting videos of himself giddily abusing Palestinian detainees for months, but only now that he’s doing it to foreign activists is it an issue for these people. Meanwhile, torturing and raping Palestinian prisoners is par for the course.

Abdul El-Sayed, who is Muslim, walks a fine line on the Jewish state. On Tuesday night, he told the crowd—as he does often—that his problem is not with Jews.
“All of us love and revere Jewish folk, our Jewish neighbors, the faith of Judaism,” he said, hands outstretched.
Later that night, in a makeshift spin room assembled by the campaign, he rebuffed my question on whether he believes in Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.
“What do you mean by ‘Jewish state?’ ” he retorted, narrowing his eyes. “If you can’t answer that question, I’m not going to answer it.”
For someone who often waves around his respect for Judaism, he seemed unaware of something elementary: Judaism is not only a religion, but a people with a long-standing connection to Israel that runs through its prayers, traditions, and history.
