In September, volunteers from Citi India spent three days with us across Maharashtra. 142 volunteers. 355 hours. Two cities, and every hour spent on children's learning. Citi volunteers brought learning to life in Pune government school through interactive Maths Board games that strengthened children’s numeracy skills addition, subtraction and multiplication. while in Mumbai, they created educational posters to support teachers and make classroom learning more engaging creating a lasting impact beyond the volunteering day. Learning Through Creativity at Kavale Math Municipal School, Mumbai! Our @dbsbank employee volunteers recently spent a wonderful day with students at Kavale Math Municipal School, Mumbai, leading a drawing activity on the theme "Save the Environment." Using simple geometric shapes, students created artwork while identifying and counting the shapes, reinforcing concepts of geometry and odd and even numbers in a fun, hands-on way. By blending art, mathematics, and environmental awareness, the session turned learning into an engaging and memorable experience.
