Thor legitimately cannot fly, and Marvel proved it in the funniest way possible back in 2011. When Odin took his powers and threw him to Earth, Thor literally walked into the hospital parking lot, spun his bare arm around like a pinwheel, leaped into the air, and immediately fell to the ground. He didn't float for half a second. It proved once and for all that Thor has zero flight powers, Mjolnir is just an Asgardian jetpack, and he’s holding onto the strap getting carried across the sky like a passenger
Thor has to spin Mjolnir to fly, how then was he able to fly here?

People often ask why Viktor Krum chose Hermione when, in the movies, she’s portrayed as beautiful and he’s portrayed as a tall, muscular, attractive athlete. But the books present a rather different picture of both characters. Book Krum is described as having a hunched posture, a hooked nose, and large feet. He isn't particularly impressive-looking on the ground, but on a broom, he's exceptional. In that sense, he and Hermione have something in common: neither necessarily fits conventional expectations of attractiveness. More importantly, Krum is a man of substance. He's already a world-famous Quidditch player, yet he takes time away from the sport to attend Hogwarts and compete in the Triwizard Tournament. He wants to learn and challenge himself rather than simply bask in his fame. Throughout the Tournament, he demonstrates determination and a serious work ethic. So why Hermione? Why settle for one of the girls who only seem interested in him because he's a famous Quidditch star when he can choose someone intelligent, studious, and capable of having meaningful conversations with him? Hermione offers him a genuine connection, and their correspondence after he leaves Hogwarts suggests that their relationship isn't based solely on physical attraction. **Krum didn't necessarily choose Hermione despite her appearance. He may have chosen her because of who she was.** He could see beyond the same superficial judgments that other people might make about him. And one more thing: the way Krum speaks English doesn't mean he's unintelligent. There's a tendency, particularly among monolingual English speakers, to mock people who speak English with a foreign accent, as though imperfect fluency in a second language somehow reflects a lack of intelligence. Ron occasionally displays this attitude towards Krum, but Krum's achievements and character demonstrate why that assumption is misguided. Being a famous athlete doesn't make someone shallow, having an accent doesn't make someone stupid, and physical appearance doesn't determine someone's worth. Krum's attraction to Hermione makes perfect sense when you consider what the books actually tell us about both of them.
Why did Viktor Krum choose Hermione Granger as his date for the Yule Ball?

Thanos had to restart a dying star to forge his gauntlet, so how was Tony able to build a functional one out of nanotech in a lab?

Thanos needed a dying neutron star because he was forging a weapon capable of harnessing the Infinity Stones from scratch. Tony wasn't starting from zero. He had decades of experience with nanotechnology and built his gauntlet around the technology he already understood. But the real difference is that building a gauntlet that can hold the Stones doesn't mean building one that can protect its wearer from their power. Tony's nanotech could form around the Stones and let him wield them, but it couldn't make his body strong enough to survive using all six. That's why Tony's achievement is impressive without making Eitri's work pointless. Tony solved the engineering problem with technology he had. He just couldn't engineer his way out of the cost.

Draco helping Harry at the end was a subtle but meaningful moment of growth,he never became a hero in the traditional sense but when it mattered, he made choices that showed he wasn’t entirely beyond redemption. Do you think Draco deserved a proper redemption arc, or was his ending in the books already enough?
Still annoyed that the only place Draco actively helps Harry in the final fight is on some unused footage reel. Would you have preferred that version of Deathly Hallows Part 2?

Vision keeping Ultron alive inside his own mind makes perfect sense when you remember that his answer to fear has always been love and compassion. Vision was created to stop Ultron, but he never had to become like him to do it. Ultron saw humanity as a problem that needed to be eliminated, while Vision saw its flaws and still believed people were worth saving. So instead of simply destroying Ultron, keeping him trapped inside his mind could be Vision’s way of showing compassion even to someone who had done terrible things. Vision didn't have to forgive Ultron to refuse to become his executioner. And that might be the clearest difference between them: Ultron believed fear justified destruction, but Vision believed even fear could be answered with something better.

Yangchen had more courage than Aang when it came to sacrificing her pacifism for the greater good. While Aang clung to his beliefs, Yangchen was willing to use morally questionable and lethal methods to maintain peace, despite being an Air Nomad herself. Aang had every right to uphold his beliefs, but the Fire Nation had committed genocide, occupied Earth Kingdom territory, and devastated the Southern Water Tribe. Sparing Ozai also left room for future complications, including the New Ozai Society. Zuko could still have repaired his family’s damage without his father being alive. Ultimately, Aang was lucky the lion turtle taught him energybending. What if that opportunity had never come? Yangchen understood that being the Avatar sometimes meant making terrible choices for the greater good. Aang’s mercy was admirable, but was prioritizing his pacifism really the selfless choice while the world was suffering?

How did Fred and George never notice Peter Pettigrew sleeping in the same bed as their younger brother every night? They had the Marauder’s Map which revealed everyone’s name inside Hogwarts yet neither of them ever questioned why Peter Pettigrew was constantly beside Ron,did they simply never pay attention to the names around Ron or was there another reason they never noticed?

If Vision Quest takes place before Avengers: Doomsday, could Vision’s discoveries about Ultron and his own identity be setting him up for a major role in the movie? or is Marvel going to spend an entire series building up these storylines just to pretend they never happened when the movies come around?

Q: "Which characters in the Harry Potter movies deviate the most from their book descriptions?" HERMIONE I loved the first movie Hermione. She was pretty close to the books' version. Bushy hair, not so pretty, bossy, know-it-all. But we lost a lot of Ron's lines who were given to her. She was made a perfect person with absolutely no flaws in the movies What I want to talk about is 3rd+ movie Hermione. 3rd book Hermione - a girl who lives for 30 hours/day at least, suffers from sleep loss, is very irritable, never has enough time to do her homework, but still has time to help Hagrid with his problem, something Harry and Ron forget to do. She cares about Harry and Ron a lot, she even tells McGonagall about the Firebolt, knowing Harry would hate her for it. 3rd movie Hermione - almost a side character. She sometimes appears in classes randomly and cares about her appearance the most. She never looks tired, never works on her homework, doesn't fight with Ron more than usual. What annoyed me the most was when they went back in time, Harry 2 and Hermione 2 were hiding behind the tree. Hermione goes: Is that really what my hair looks like from the back? Thus attracting the original trio's attention. Book Hermione would never say something like that Is this really what my character does in the movies? Also Lily Evans She appeared only in flashbacks, but her character was still ruined. Her relationship with James and Snape was completely altered. If you follow the movies, Lily became friends with James on the first day while still being friends with Snape. James bullied Snape and Lily supported him. Snape has fallen for Lily, but Lily friendzoned him, getting together with his bully James. That's why many people think of Snape as the hero, the love between Snape and Lily being true love and James is ignored. In the books, however, Lily stayed friends with Snape as long as she could, but after he insulted her, she saw his true colors. She hated James for 6 years and only in her last year she fell for him, while James truly loved her since at least 5th year. James changed for Lily, Snape didn't.

Humanity taking Korra’s spirit portals and turning them into literal nuclear reactors is the ultimate greed move. Instead of bringing harmony between realms, hyper-industrialization pushed the spirit world to its breaking point and turning spiritual energy into raw power grid fuel might have been the exact trigger for the Cataclysm. Did human greed directly cause the apocalypse by weaponizing the spirit portals?

Few people know that Minerva McGonagall does face Lord Voldemort directly in the Battle of Hogwarts, and she doesn't do it alone. In the books, following Harry Potter's apparent defeat, a final confrontation breaks out as several of the most capable wizards attempt to hold Voldemort back at the same time. At that point, McGonagall fights alongside Kingsley Shacklebolt and Horace Slughorn against Voldemort. This isn't a symbolic duel; it's a real battle in which three experienced wizards join forces to try to stop him. It highlights Voldemort's power, because even when facing three highly skilled opponents, he is still able to maintain the advantage. What matters here is what McGonagall represents. She isn't just a strict professor; she's a highly skilled duelist who is willing to stand on the front lines against the most dangerous wizard in the world. Her participation in this confrontation reinforces her role as one of the most capable witches on Hogwarts' side, something that is often underestimated. The films don't show this combined battle, which means part of the weight of the final confrontation is lost. In the books, this moment demonstrates that defeating Voldemort wasn't simple or the work of one individual. It was the result of several wizards standing their ground and confronting him directly, even knowing they were at a disadvantage.

Make it make sense: Vision is literally housing an Infinity Stone that gives complete dominion over hearts and minds. Thanos touches him, reaches into his forehead, and Vision just forgets he’s basically a walking God. Why didn't he mind-wipe him on sight?
