5⭐️ center Lewis Uvwo will announce his college decision tomorrow.
The top-10 overall prospect is down to Baylor, Kentucky, Providence and Cal.
The Bears have been a strong contender for him and are in a good spot to land another elite prospect. #SicEm 🐻
The rest of the country has no idea what it’s been like 😂
Aranda is 40-40. He’s got a losing record against FBS programs. He’s got a losing record in the B12. He’s got a losing record against P5 schools. He’s 1-6 against TCU.
Baylor has elite facilities, a good NIL pool, and reasonable expectations. Dave wasn’t meeting them. He hasn’t met them in several years.
Firing him not only made sense. It was long overdue.
Traylor’s comments are a nothing burger. This is exactly what Matt Rhule said before he left Waco. And what is Traylor supposed to say? I’m leaving right now? Obviously he wants to see this thing play out

BREAKING: Baylor has fired head football coach Dave Aranda, @PeteNakos reports.

The saddest thing is that almost all Baylor fans really wanted Dave Aranda to work. He’s a perfect cultural fit.
He just isn’t a good head coach and unfortunately that’s the job title.
This is completely unacceptable. There is no reason to continue employing him.
It’s the same stuff every time. It’s penalties, costly fourth down failures, and special teams breakdowns. It has to end.
Dave is on the verge of missing a bowl… again. Baylor has the resources to be better than this. The fans deserve better than this. They should’ve left Dave in Lawrence.

Disaster.
TCUs only Power Four win is against Baylor.
Kansas’ only Power Four win is against Baylor.
Leave Dave Aranda and the rest of his staff in Lawrence. It’s pathetic to continue employing him in any capacity
Incredibly rare good CFB development
NEW: Oregon State star true freshman WR Jesse Legree will return to Corvallis for the 2027 season, @PeteNakos, @SWiltfong_ and @Hayesfawcett3 report🦫
Legree is leading the nation in receiving yards (1,040) through week 7.

I like how you tried to crop out the games played. 🤣 14 games, Legree has played 7, 2 Top 15 teams. Now Multiple Legree’s Stats by 2 and tell me what you get? 22 yards per catch vs 14 🤣
Replying to @TCalBIP
I’m new to college football and you think Lagree gonna win the Heisman. Sterns wasn’t even a Fred Biletnikoff Award finalist. School matters.
Maybe the most important game left on Baylor’s schedule. A loss here would make it very difficult for Aranda’s squad to make a bowl game

I really can’t tell if this is a bit. It’s gotta be a bit, right?
BASEBALL MIGHT BE GETTING THE WORLD SERIES IT NEEDS MOST!
At a time when analytics have practically taken over the game and a potential lockout is looming, the Rays and Brewers might be reminding baseball of something we’ve forgotten.
HOW TO ACTUALLY PLAY WINNING BASEBALL!
Pitching. Defense. Speed. Contact. Smart baserunning. Timely power. EXECUTION!
Forget chasing superstars just because they’re superstars. GO FIND SUPERSTARS WHO KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME!
Two organizations proving that sometimes the best way forward is BACK TO BASICS!
Maybe this World Series is bigger than a championship. Maybe it’s a reminder of what baseball has been missing.
And for once, I genuinely have NO IDEA who I’m picking!
Rays fans, Brewers fans… SELL ME ON YOUR SQUAD!
Convince me why YOUR team wins it all.
BEST ARGUMENT GETS MY PICK!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Rays and Brewers are among baseball's most analytics-driven organizations, using data and tech to identify edges like contact, speed, and small-ball tactics rather than representing a "back to basics" rejection of analytics.

My official too early 2026-2027 Offseason #STLCards Wishlist:
1) Royce Lewis 3B
2) Tyler Mahle SP (R)
3) Bryan Abreu RP (R)
4) Jonathan Loaisiga RP (R)
I really don’t love the left handed options on the relief market, if there’s one you like let me know who you’d prefer.
