Dear Rest of the World, Is every country getting "prepper" warnings from their governments every 3 or 4 weeks? Yours faithfully, "Mildly anxious from the UK".

Seems Long Covid Advocacy is a synonym for PAIS.
This is an ME advocacy group, right? Why is it called 'Long Covid Advocacy'? So confusing!

Following the Covid Inquiry's damning verdict on @MattHancock, we've launched a petition to remove him from the Privy Council. His actions led to thousands of avoidable deaths. This is a first symbolic step towards accountability. Sign and share: c.org/RJtgMtQF2f

I apparently have a low QI - shucks. 😆
Replying to @PeteUK7
bro as always you maybe have a low QI and don’t understand my posts. I’ve been one of the first describing miocarditis surge in kids during the pandemic and my comments here were obviously referring to covid

THE BIG REVEAL: Scotland’s IPC team have decided to place COVID in the R1 category. That means they consider that COVID: ▪️does NOT cause severe disease ▪️is UNLIKELY to spread to the community ▪️and there IS prophylaxis or treatment readily available. nipcm.hps.scot.nhs.uk/media/…

A genuine (not rhetorical) question: Wouldn't it make more sense to increase the sample size? Is it time we provide mandatory cohort testing at scale for an ongoing pandemic that has removed millions from our planet and left 100s of millions with an illness without treatment?
A genuine (not sarcastic) question: Is it time to provide a mandatory statistics course for anyone who is elected to parliament? 📊

A somewhat delayed rise continues across the South, with Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall all the highest; Bath and the Isle of Wight not far behind. Royal Devon NHS Trust has been complaining of stress on A&E for several days now. 3/8

Asda still good for NHS flu vaccinations.
👀 Does anyone know what’s going on with this Autumn’s flu vaccination campaign? I’ve just seen this on the Superdrug website: “Due to limited vaccine stock availability, we have now closed bookings for the current season”. superdrug.com/microsite/flu-…

Why are you taking this drug? - I'm not. It's in your records. - Never heard of it. Your GP hasn't sent your blood work. - Oh. Has your GP discussed this with you? - Not a word. This new referral system is completely broken. - So I heard. 💙 NHS

Data on positive covid tests would be more useful than this vague (minimising?) tweet. Respirators on, especially when visiting healthcare but respirator use in crowded or indoor settings is always prudent.
