One thing that frightens me after watching the Reform expose is the way that they have clearly been told to keep their more extreme views quiet until
they gain power.
I had a shock this week when I realised that I had been conned by a Reform supporter for quite a number of years.
I had always believed that the individual was a really decent person who was just concerned about uncontrolled immigration. He had even said that although we were not aligned politically we were morally.
Then a few days ago, triggered by a Jenrick interview (in which Jenrick failed to condemn the racist attack on Kemi ) I was told that I was to get used to this kind of comment because that’s how things are now . I was taken aback. When I questioned the response he held firm.
It was obvious that he thought it was fine to talk about somebody in this way.
I said I had thought better of him but my words did not land. It was obvious the devil was out of the box and would not be going back in.
An hour or two later when I looked to see if he had responded any further I discovered that all of these nasty comments revealing his true nature had been deleted. This stunned me.
This is somebody who has presented themselves as a family man sharing images of his grandparents and describing himself as a christian. But when the truth comes out it is ugly with some of these people and that scares me more than those who are blatant about their levels of intolerance. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. A conman holding back his true nature until accidentally letting it spill out and then hurriedly hiding the evidence.

After yesterday’s post about the Russell Brand trial, my inbox was flooded with people claiming this is all just a coordinated media conspiracy.
Well, I hope those same people actually read what came out of Southwark Crown Court today, because Brand took the witness stand and completely shredded his own defense.
Under cross-examination, he openly admitted to "inconsistencies" in his evidence, awkwardly asking the prosecution for forgiveness.
Even more damning, his own barrister asked him if a single friend or colleague from twenty-five years in showbusiness was willing to stand up in that courtroom and speak for his character.
His answer was no. Not a single person would touch him with a barge pole. Think about what that actually means. Decades surrounded by entourages, agents, and industry friends, and not one human being is willing to take an oath on his behalf.
Then look at how he described women to the jury today.
He admitted saving a complainant’s name in his phone labeled with a degrading slur and a sexual act. When asked if a woman expressed reluctance to an encounter, he casually dismissed her hesitation as "coquettishness and coyness."
This is not a misunderstood free-thinker being silenced for his politics. This is an arrogant narcissist who used celebrity status to treat women like disposable commodities, and is now watching his carefully rehearsed narrative crumble under basic legal scrutiny.
Stop falling for the staged internet guru act. The admissions coming out of his own mouth in that courtroom tell you everything you need to know.

Have you noticed that 95% of people commenting about this news on twitter are middle class white women with 500 neurodivergencies who are all on the take?
This is the kind of thing I mean from the far right. It’s the view of somebody who has given up on life and looking to blame others for this. Nobody happy and content in their life says this kind of thing.

Overton window shift… it was always coming. Facts over feelings isn’t a far right view. Suck it up buttercup.

Just went to my local station’s ticket office and told them I have ADHD, and they immediately and without question gave me a Disabled Persons Railcard, along with another ten just in case I lose any of them, as well as a leather-effect box to keep them all in. Before I could say anything else, the lady also gave me £325 in cash in a silver tankard, a free first class LNER return from London to Edinburgh, a double-deck Betamax recorder, a selection of garden furniture, a wardrobe of the latest ladies’ fashions, a teasmade, a portable facial sauna sarolium, a hifi with a turntable, and a three-day city break to Budapest. Then, while the whole station rotated, I had 15 seconds to decide if I wanted to gamble the lot for the chance to win a speedboat while other passengers in the queue screamed advice at me.
