We examined rural caregivers' views on activities with their preschoolers and math learning, using both open-ended and close-ended measures. We find contexts where we can draw on families' strengths to enhance math and expand how we think about family math.

Despite the fact that its utility is pretty much limited to times I look up from my desk wondering, "What day of the week does mm/dd fall on?" I really love having an analog calendar in my office as a rotating art display.

I'm sad that the amazing vet clinic we go to is dealing with enough abusive clientele that they released a memo that they will discontinue service for anyone berating their staff. I'd love to do something to show appreciation/support them, beyond our continued business- ideas?
