With great joy, I congratulate my dear brother President Lula @LulaOficial on his historic fourth presidential election victory and the renewed trust of the Brazilian people.
We share a simple but profound conviction. Politics must improve people’s lives, uphold their dignity and bring hope to those too often left behind. That commitment to social justice remains at the heart of our work.
I look forward to strengthening the friendship between Barbados and Brazil as we continue building a fairer, more inclusive and peaceful world.
May God continue to guide and strengthen you, dear brother. There is much work ahead, and much good still to be done!

Matt Smith just met Prince William at a polo match… and the woman introducing him almost said the one thing you should never say to a royal.
“And this is Matt, and he’s about to play Prince Philip.”
Matt’s reaction: pure panic. He literally thought he was about to die. Then William just looked at him and said one word:
**“Legend.”**
That’s it. No awkwardness. No lecture. Just “legend.”
And then it gets even better.
Claire Foy (who played the Queen) was on set four months after giving birth. She was breastfeeding while in full Queen mode, and every morning in the makeup chair she had to use the breast pump. The sound? Everyone kept thinking someone’s phone was ringing. Her response every time:
“No, no… it’s just me. It’s just my breasts.”
She even said she “made a lot of milk” during that job. Matt Smith just sat there like a man who had heard that pump every single morning and was never the same again.
This whole clip is unhinged in the best way. Watch it.
“Be honest with me, are you single?” Conan, why are you asking such personal questions if you're supposedly asking for somebody else?
The moment Conan says, “I'm asking for a friend,” you already know that friend might be sitting right there in the studio.
That's what makes these moments so funny. He tries to play it cool, but the question itself makes everyone suspicious. You can almost imagine the conversation taking a turn he wasn't prepared for.
Let's be honest, we've all heard someone use the “I'm asking for a friend” excuse when they really want to know the answer for themselves.
Conan, just admit it. Nobody is buying that excuse.

Prince William talking about his beloved Aston Villa on The Graham Norton Show:
“Some childhood friends of mine got me into Aston Villa, clearly thinking they’d get some free tickets in later life. I think it probably works.” 😂⚽️💜

The outcome of Brazil’s election has consequences far beyond Brazil.
If Lula wins, we are one step closer to preserving Earth’s largest rainforest.
If Flávio Bolsonaro wins, we risk a return to the policies that drove deforestation up under his father.

Science gives us hope. Today, in Bunia #DRC, the first participants were vaccinated in a new #Ebola vaccine trial called TUMAINI, which means “hope” in Swahili.
There is currently no approved vaccine against the Bundibugyo virus causing the outbreak. This trial will help us understand whether any of the vaccine candidates designed for Bundibugyo virus work.
In the meantime, the existing Everbo vaccine (licensed for use in preventing other Ebola virus disease) will be tested.

Sixty years on, we remember the 144 people who lost their lives in the Aberfan disaster.
Today, The King and The Queen, with The Prince of Wales, spent time at the Aberfan Memorial Garden and the Aberfan and Merthyr Vale Community Centre to honour their memory.
The Aberfan Memorial Garden stands on the site of Pantglas School, where 109 children and 5 teachers died when the coal tip collapsed onto the village.

60 years ago today 144 people died in the Welsh village of Aberfan when a colliery spoil tip collapsed onto them. 109 of those were children attending the village school. A tragedy that broke hearts, which remain broken now. The strength and courage shown by that community is an example to us all.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 I think Zelensky is 💯 right about this...
"Trump decided to pin this problem not on Putin, but on me, explaining to his people that diesel prices in America are going up because of us.
That is completely untrue."
So Putin invades Ukraine, U.S. and Israel start the war in Iran, and somehow Zelensky ends up responsible for diesel prices in America? 🤣🤣🤣
