As wildfires continue to affect communities across BC, our thoughts are with everyone facing loss and uncertainty. We extend heartfelt support to impacted families, farmers and communities, and gratitude to those helping on the front lines.

BC Dairy appreciates the Province’s support for supply management, and its recognition of the vital role dairy farmers and processors play in BC’s economy and food security. We are proud to work alongside partners to build a stronger, and more self-sufficient food system for BC!

Yesterday was BC Dairy Day at the Legislature with @WDC_Dairy. Thank you to Premier @Dave_Eby, Minister Popham, Opposition Critic @IanPatonDelta, MLAs and staff from all parties who joined us for ice cream and conversations about the future of dairy and food processing in BC!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for #BCDairyDay at the BC Legislature! 🐄🍦We’re grateful for the BC Government’s strong support for our dairy sector—great conversations, thoughtful engagement, and of course, local ice cream to top it off.🥛🇨🇦 @Dave_Eby @IanPatonDelta

Today we pause to acknowledge the lost children, the survivors, and the families and communities who continue to be affected. Together, we continue to seek greater understanding of our shared history, to learn from it, and to contribute to a better, more inclusive future.
