Australians,
You are funding your own servitude.
More than half your wealth is stolen by the State.
The State then uses YOUR MONEY to control the media, restrict your speech, and build out an AI technocracy to monitor your every move (and hand out massive fines for non-compliance).
It's only going to get worse.
And you can't vote your way out of this.
There is no democratic solution - we're too far gone for that.
We imported too many new voters. And put too many citizens on the government payroll - there's no way they will vote against the gravy train, their own self-interest.
One Nation won't save you either. It's just another big State party leveraging discontent to gain power. If you think they'll destroy the surveillance state after you hand them the keys, you've got rocks in your head.
The way I see it, you only have 2 options.
The first is Revolution. But I don't see how you can do that. The State took your guns and everyone is too apathetic and scared anyway. They've done a good job of making sure Australians are timid and compliant. Good luck to anyone that tries.
The second option is Escape. That's what I chose. It's worked out well. Extremely well, in fact. I've disengaged from the perpetual doom that comes from being ruled over by slimy, serpentine communists. But even this isn't for everyone. There's not too many places to go, and Australia is so beautiful She deserves to be saved.
There's no easy solution.
So you're now stuck between a rock and a hard place. Under the crushing boot of authoritarianism that won't let up anytime soon.
Any anger that you feel is justified and good. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You're allow to be angry. Channel it into something productive (that worked for me).
We're all facing a version of this great problem to have.
Are we in a Limitless scenario, or is it something else?
June 10. Anthropic drops Fable. Problems I’d been stuck on for weeks, some for months, all solved in one day. My legs were shaking. The next day it already felt normal.
Two days later, access is cut worldwide and I’m back to the old AI. I stop working, there’s no point. Twenty days later it’s back. No shock this time. Normal.
Sept 12. I try OpenAI’s Astra. It eats two simulations that should take weeks over breakfast. So I ask for more: take over my computer, open the 3D software, have fun.
It comes back with MOSS. A crazy robot. It even picked the name.
Since then my AIs do everything. I talk into a mic all day and run a team of metal boxes connected to the internet.
Four months in: 7 partnerships with startups, a viral moment, grants coming in, lots of people making suggestions and willing to help. I’m finally a real maker. And I’m tired. 12-hour days, 3 days off a month.
What bugs me is that all I do now is make decisions. Decision models like JEV exist. Send them everything above 80% confidence (most come out at 99%) and I only get what’s left.
So do we use AI, or do we just go with the flow of what it suggests?
I’m fine with it as long as the ideas are good. I’d rather stay at my workbench.
But where’s the line?
First person to bring these to Melbourne as home protection bots from the machete carrying "kids" will make a fortune.
What happened to the modern man?
Hi @elonmusk , we’ve conducted the most comprehensive study to date on tax unfairness in the United States.
We found that you, like your fellow billionaires, pay a lower effective tax rate than the average American.
So if you really want to help the American people, I have a better suggestion than charity: pay more taxes. 🧵
Hard to believe this isn't a parody account.
The you realise it's because of weak men like this the West has fallen.
I wonder if this is enough to make people realise you can't let the zoo roam free in a civilised society without them destroying everything.
Deport all the animals.
Deport the liberal sympathisers.
Lock the borders.
Prosecute the politicians that enabled this.
Return to greatness.

I don't usually wish bad on people but these retard kol trenchers need a good slap to wake them up.

after seeing an unsettling amount of people on this app quoting Realist's tweet saying he deserved to get robbed at knife point because he "drills coins too much", i am now even more convinced that ct is a dinosaur due for extinction
this app is filled with nothing but poor, miserable, mud hut dwelling, 4chan school shooter, sub 50 iq monkeys who will live out the rest of their lives contributing nothing to this world and nothing to their families or personal lives
once ct dies, this space can then truly expand 1,000x from here

What all this political theatre distracts from is a Bill that would give the Minister & eSafety Commissioner sweeping powers to create a Minority Report-style system for preventing “harm” before it occurs. We still have time to stop it. Spread the word. 10/10
Selling my used Ledger.
Bought directly from Ledger 5 years ago.
No 3rd party distributors.

Of course they will

What you said is partly true, but also false, models are very good at onchain tracing these days, and thats why Im using them for that, but they need a lot of context, and this kind of niche data, which can needs to be obtained, treated, sanitized and consolidated from dozens of different sources is whats niche and valuable and always changing, the models will never be able to keep track of that in real time xitter.cf/WazzCrypto/status/2109…
Watching a grown man at the airport eat a burger with a knife and fork is top 3 gayest things I've ever seen.
I'm glad I left Australia.
Won't return until they are all deported.
What a disgrace of a country letting shit from the rest of the world infect the once greatest country in the world.
Melbourne has fallen.
On the third anniversary of the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, I walked into a vigil for Hamas ‘martyrs’ as a proud Australian Jewish journalist.
Attendees turned violent.
But instead of arresting the violent terror supporters, police threatened to arrest ME.
One cop even grabbed me by the neck and said, ‘I live in Caulfield North [Jewish neighbourhood]... I’ll f**king see you around.’
I had SIX bodyguards with me today.
I needed every one of them.
Security costs thousands every time we hit the streets.
