Defeat tonight but a valiant effort. We were bowled out for 117 (Manu 32, Karthik 25) and Academicals raced to 66 without loss in reply. Some tight bowling and excellent fielding swung the pendulum as the sun set, before the hosts reached 118-3 in the penultimate over. 馃尀

Another narrow defeat tonight, this time from the final ball 馃槵We did well to restrict Wrexham Outlaws to 144-4 but despite a great opening stand between Chris (53*) and Hem (33) - as well as two boundaries in the final over from James D (16*) - we agonisingly fell one run short.
Having a beer with @cc_cornerhouse after Thursday night's match 馃嵒 Win, lose or draw, one of the highlights of any cricket match!

Defeat on Thursday evening against high-flying Tarporley. Missing several key players we did superbly to restrict the visitors to 125-6 (Deepak 1-17) - and were well positioned to win our 3rd match in a row - but could only reach 99-8 in our reply. An excellent game 馃憦
