As much as he wants to deny that these results have anything to do with him and is largely driven by what a disaster Trump's been as president.

From Kambuzuma to the bench in Texas. Michelle Netsai Butler, a Zimbabwean-American, was elected yesterday as Justice of the Peace for Precinct 6 in Denton County, unseating the Republican incumbent, Blanca Oliver, with 57% of the vote.
Born in Harare to Gideon Shambambeva and Victoria Njagu, she grew up in Kambuzuma Section 6 and attended Kurai and Darwendale Primary Schools before moving to the United States. She arrived with no status and became a citizen, built a career as a community organiser and worked on the presidential campaigns of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren.
After more than 20 years in Carrollton, where she raised two daughters, she will now sit as a judge in the same government building where she got her marriage licence and her first American passport.
Her story is a proud moment for Zimbabweans everywhere. A girl from Kambuzuma will now serve justice in Texas.
