Futsal in England is under attack! We urgently call upon @OliverDowden, @DCMS & @Sport_England to hold @FA accountable for their decisions. Sign here to support our campaign chng.it/7KH9WsRq6F #FutsalForAll
The TRUTH:
England Players & Coaching Staff had ALL agreed to travel and were happy to play.
@FA hadn't secured a doctor
@FA hadn't secured a physio
@FA hadn't booked flights
@FA hadn't booked hotel
Withdrawing has been the long term plan by @FA all along.
A total disgrace!
We have regrettably decided to withdraw @England from next week's #FutsalEURO qualifying play-offs in North Macedonia:

Futsal helped Max Kilman reach the Premier League so why is the FA slashing funding and scrapping the England team?
Thank you @SkySports for giving the @England players a voice. It’s shameful that @FA still haven’t listened to the players and it’s tarnishing their reputation as an NGB. We really need @Sport_England to challenge them on so many levels.

Great opportunity for futsal clubs to share the reality of the impact the @FA decision to stop funding futsal.

@England Are you saying that there is unallocated budget remaining this season then? The senior men's futsal team have @UEFAFutsal playoffs coming up & have been told there is no budget to train or prepare. Embarrassing I know yet there is still nothing but silence from you @FA
Following @UEFA’s announcement that this year’s #U19EURO tournament has been cancelled, we have been allocated one of five spots for European teams at next year’s #U20WC.
This is due to our #YoungLions being ranked in the top five of the 2019-20 U19 national team coefficient.
Not to mention our own @England U19s futsal team who have been withdrawn from the @UEFAFutsal European Championships in January! #FutsalForAll @FA

Challenge:
Ask your local sports clubs: football rugby/netball/hockey/gymnastics or others to share our petition with their members?
Children deserve opportunities, the cut in Futsal funding by @FA limits their futures!

Steve Daley MBE
Hugely deserved honour, what an athlete!

Across all sports, history clearly demonstrates the dangers of not listening to athletes!
The neglect shown to the mental health of @England futsal players is awful.
@MindCharity you must agree?
@FA @markbullingham must be held accountable by @Sport_England

Exactly!
So you’ll agree that it’s an absolute disgrace that @FA have FAILED to provide an opportunity for female Futsal players to represent their country!
What does “For All” actually mean?
#FutsalForAll
Couldn't make it up if you tried!
@England Sponsors promoting the SPORT that @FA have just decimated.
@PokemonNewsUK A great opportunity to see the SPORT of futsal, you might find that it's more than just a development tool!

Keep sharing this appeal from England Futsal Captain @RaoniMedina9 to @HKane
Harry, as a captain, professional & as a person, surely you and perhaps the rest of the @England team have some advice for Raoni?
@HKane I’ve tried to contact you privately, but I’ve no idea if this letter has reached you yet, and I’m running out of time. I’m hoping the power of @Twitter can unite us as England captains. @FA @England #FutsalForAll

Futsal teaches different skills & forms a core part of Club academy programmes so this cut, especially to the women's game, feels a bit short sighted. I hope it is reconsidered. The petition link can be found here: change.org/p/oliver-dowden-s…
