When will the Winter Gardens at Glasgow Green reopen? Dwarfed today by building of The Proms stage. 9th month of closure, no repairs done, overgrown weeds of vegetation, signs of neglect? Answers please! #SaveTWG

Interesting to read abt city manifesto creating a dedicated events & festival space in Glasgow & perceived absence of consultation w/ representative groups. Often it’s the lack of consideration & voice rather than events themselves that worry people #festspace @andrewsmithwest

Thank you! This seems to be it also - listen at 7'35": 'Santiago Watt... El inventor... De la primera bomba de vapor...' #JamesWatt2019 - was this the song which Elspeth King @PalaceGlasgow heard sung by Chilean visitors at #Glasgow Green? youtube.com/watch?v=WQ3IUIGi…

🍂Autumn colours tinging the overgrown weeds & vegetation around the Winter Gardens. Hard to believe this is the 9th month of closure & not a word on reopening plans🍂😢

Only one more to go until ... the James Watt Bicentenary. Events happening across the country, but this is the only one in Glasgow in honour of James Watt, one of the greatest Scots and inventors of all time. #jameswatt2019
