As a reminder, four men were hospitalized from the facility today with injuries, while dozens more were brought out showing signs of beatings. Among them, for some reason, was this 14-year-old boy. Azov remains silent about why a child ended up in this secret torture chamber. Perhaps Zelenskyy could offer us an explanation? He loves talking about how he protects children.

A SECRET PRISON NEAR KYIV? ALLEGATIONS OF TORTURE, BEATINGS, AND EXTORTION An unofficial detention facility has reportedly been uncovered in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, near Kyiv, operated by Ukraine’s National Guard to hold men who had gone AWOL from military service. According to reports, the men were beaten and tortured. Some accounts suggest that their families were pressured to pay bribes to secure their release. Some of the detainees had allegedly been held there for weeks. Protesters gathered outside the building, demanding justice and the release of the detained men. Ambulances arrived at the scene. In a shocking moment, a female paramedic fell to her knees, begging police officers to let her reach the men inside, some of whom were in critical condition and desperately needed medical attention. Eventually, under mounting public pressure, the detained men began to be released. One reportedly had a broken rib. Others emerged with visible signs of beatings on their faces. Why are the Ukrainian authorities allegedly operating secret prisons to detain men? Who will be held accountable for the violence, torture, and flagrant violations of human rights? Will the police chief resign? And perhaps the most disturbing question of all: Why is President Zelensky remaining silent? Who will protect Ukrainian citizens from abuse at the hands of those entrusted with protecting them?

The hunt for draft-age men in Ukraine continues unabated. In Kharkiv, military recruitment officers used their van to cut off a taxi. One officer opened the door and forced his way into the vehicle, while others tried to drag someone out from the opposite side. At one point, the taxi driver managed to drive away, and the recruitment officers sped off in pursuit.

Another newly mobilized man dies while serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ihor Reveka, a 57-year-old pediatrician, died just 3 (three) weeks after being forcibly conscripted into the Ukrainian military. He was mobilized on September 25 and assigned to serve as a rifleman and assistant grenadier. On October 3, he began basic military training at a training ground. Just two days later, on October 5, he complained of health problems and was hospitalized. On October 16, he died in a hospital in Dnipro. The cause of death: cancer.

In Kharkiv, draft officers blocked a car and forcibly pulled the driver out.
