When considering a ban on AI access, we must also weigh the opportunity cost. Specifically, how many lives could be saved by putting AI technology into the right hands.
The AI may actually be a bubble after all. Not because it's overvalued, but because the industry invested in cloud compute but everyone will most probably switch to local eventually.
