An efficient, purpose-built tool beats an expensive, over allocated one. GPUs represent the antithesis of design.
A bunch of people asked for it, so here it is: OpenDDE now runs on @tenstorrent hardware, inside TT-Bio, with much higher throughput per dollar than state-of-the-art GPUs. OpenDDE is @AurekaBio's biomoleculare structure prediction model. It's exceptionally good at antibody-antigen complexes and ships a dedicated antibody-antigen checkpoint. The video below shows the diffusion process of OpenDDE: the complex starts from random noise and converges to the docked antibody-antigen structure (antigen on top, antibody on bottom), run on a single Tenstorrent Blackhole card. But you can also scale it to multiple Galaxy servers using TT-Bio. Another step toward a drug discovered on Tenstorrent.

I try to reference it every 10 days.
Replying to @alessio_joseph
if you haven’t brought it up as a reference are you even a creative director?

I’ve been thinking about the usual order of problem solving in computers 1) Compute 2) Memory 3) IO Scaling with MPI or similar is often an exercise for the reader @tenstorrent solved it in this order 1) Data placement and movement for Scaling 2) IO 3) Memory 4) Compute Compute is the easiest and best understood so making it last makes sense This was hard, actually, but puts the hard part first. Results are surprisingly good

Almost end of '25. A quarter century passed where we perfected the handheld phone, internet shopping, home delivery of goods, and completely forgot how to be alive

Congrats @losingmyego! Excited to build w/u.
Life update~ I joined @tenstorrent as the first Experience Designer hire on their Creative Team. With more AI hardware shipping next year, I’ll be shaping how people encounter it through brand + interface. Feeling excited to do this kind of work~

Six months ago we got a new Pope, and I can’t help thinking about a thing I once heard: it takes ~6 months for a Designer to start making an impact on a new team

I love these graphic design pop-culture moments in @erikinternet’s Design Harder. De Niro’s girlfriend in Heat has lived rent-free in my brain for years. Pictured: @kendricklamar, Pam Beesly, De Niro
