Maresca really signed Enzo Fernandez just to be a box crasher at $125m... Reijnders was doing that for less than half the price and wage
Id rather watch reis makes mistakes than those seniors... I can't wait to hear maresca's interview after the game ....maresca not even waiting for the premier league to sanction us.. he's doing that by himself
All of city backline except khusanov have made ridiculous mistakes ...and worst thing is the seniors.. seasoned pros..players don't just go bad overnight... system ain't helping
I just said that...who was there to receive the ball ..no options
The number of chances/goals that Man City have conceded from errors in deep build-up … these errors have come from multiple different players too. So it points to a systemic issue where they are not building up well as a collective when pressed. With that Gvardiol one, the middle of the pitch where one of Enzo or Anderson should be, was vacant.
I saw the gvardiol mistake ...his only options were to boom jt upfield or go back donnarruma...he doesn't trust donnarruma I guess...but where's the dm to receive the ball from the defense
