There was a lot of confusion surrounding the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade from the #Cardinals to the #Texans.
I joined @Realrclark25 and emptied my notebook to explain how it unfolded and what agreements the teams had made before Sunday’s games.
Sources: The #Cardinals and #Texans have engaged in deep negotiations for WR Marvin Harrison Jr., in exchange for significant draft capital.
However, Arizona has also informed Houston that they are still listening to potential offers from other teams with the hopes of receiving a 1st-round draft choice.
It’s my understanding that several other clubs have reached out with legitimate interest in trying to acquire Harrison, although at least one of those clubs feels MHJ is worth a Day 2 pick.
Ultimately, Harrison has been fully informed that he will be moved, but the Cardinals want to maximize value.
Playing the 2-minute drill is lowkey addicting. I absolutely crushed @keyshawn in our head-to-head!
Had my inner Ben Johnson coming out, calling trick plays and everything 😂😂😂
“He’s a dark-horse MVP.” 👀
Talked to @Filmwatchers1 about Jags QB Trevor Lawrence
I asked @Filmwatchers1 to name his top-5 offensive playcallers right now in no particular order:
🏈Kyle Shanahan
🏈Sean McVay
🏈Liam Coen
🏈Joe Brady
🏈Matt LaFleur
#Lions TE Sam LaPorta on not getting a contract extension:
“It’s disappointing that you go out there every week and bear the risk of getting hurt. Like last year, I broke my f—ing back for the team. And then I’m going out there this year and I’m balling, and maybe they’re just not showing the love.
“I’m going to continue to do my thing and ball out, and in three months, if I don’t get to wear the Honolulu blue and play for the Lions anymore, it’s going to be all good. I’ll go get paid somewhere else. So whatever.”

Wow. Much respect to #Titans HC Robert Saleh for explaining the DT Jordan Elliott gun situation.
“My message to 31 other teams: If you need a hell of a run-stopping D-tackle that can help on a playoff run, give me a call. I'll tell you everything you need to know about him. He’s a good man. Had a terrible lapse in judgment. I recognize it as a call for help. Not a criminal act.”

The 5-0 #Chiefs are one of only three remaining unbeatens.
@Filmwatchers1 doesn’t understand why more people aren’t talking about them and says there’s still a layer we haven’t seen yet!
Jordan Schultz retweeted
I want to shine a light on #Bills WR Keon Coleman and how he’s been a big part in Buffalo so far this year — which is notable considering the offseason he went though:

#Panthers TE Tommy Tremble has become an all-around TE in Carolina.
He explained to me how that has developed after his big game in Philadelphia:
Sources: #Eagles WR Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is a name that teams seeking WR help believe could be traded in the coming weeks.
Brown is healthy, has a 1,000-yard season on his résumé and recorded 49 catches for 587 yards and 5 TDs with the Chiefs last season. He hasn’t had much of an opportunity in Philadelphia.
Sources: The #Chiefs are signing former #Texans LB Aiden Fisher to their practice squad.
The rookie 7th-round pick was an All-American last season en route to helping Indiana win a national championship.

BREAKING: #Commanders All-Pro WR Terry McLaurin suffered a torn patellar tendon during Monday night’s loss to the #49ers.
A devastating loss to one of the organization’s best and most respected players.
I want to shine a light on #Bills WR Keon Coleman and how he’s been a big part in Buffalo so far this year — which is notable considering the offseason he went though:
Hilarious exchange between Browns RB Audric Estime and RBs coach Duce Staley:
Estime: I scored that TD with one contact in.
Staley: Huh?
Estime: My contact fell out!
Staley: That's good.
😂😂😂😂
More on why #Texans QB C.J. Stroud has been sensational — and how he and OC Nick Caley have the offense clicking right now:
C.J. Stroud has been one of the NFL's best stories this season. He's completed 65.3% of his passes for 1,714 yards, 9 TDs and just 1 INT, with a 100.9 passer rating.
Credit to #Texans OC Nick Caley, who has been pulling all the right levers and has dialed up a scheme that has Stroud playing fast, confident and in total command. A likely HC candidate in the offseason.

Sources: The #Dolphins are signing K Zane Gonzalez after a workout today that I’m told also included 7× Pro Bowler Justin Tucker.
Gonzalez is set to join Miami pending a physical.
Source: The #Steelers are expected to sign veteran WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling to their Practice Squad, reuniting him with Aaron Rodgers.
MVS was also with Pittsburgh last season, but spent the start of this season with the Chargers.
#Bills RB James Cook to Josh Allen after the his insane TD pass on Sunday:
“I don’t know how you do it, boy!”
The sideline was jaw-dropped! 🤯

Sources: The #Ravens are signing K Jake Moody to their practice squad, bringing him back as competition.
Moody was with the team earlier this season when Tyler Loop had struggled in camp.
