Let’s give our American equine friends a basic measure of decency and finally ban slaughter. Pass the #SAFEAct and support programs and organizations to keep horses alive and valued. American horses, donkeys, and mules deserve nothing less. Salt River mustang by @tammyrichey

Not enough! “If the track surface was the singular cause of the rash of horse deaths at Churchill Downs, changing the racing venue might make sense. … This is a response, but it feels like a shell-game response.” --Wayne Pacelle #churchilldowns bit.ly/3C5ZAAN

Without a reason, the officer chased him, threw him to the ground, and arrested him.

Wild Horse Wins-Day: Wyoming state legislators call for the removal and slaughter of America’s wild horses, and @county10 News spouts their “overpopulation” nonsense without any attempt at presenting a balanced story. Here’s my message to all of them.

This just in: New CO Bill has the potential to reduce the need for roundups and removals of #wildhorses by implementing on-range solutions at scale.
The CO Wild Horse Project is a bipartisan, forward-thinking bill that will keep wild horses in the wild – where they belong.

A young girl didn’t want to slaughter the goat she raised for 4H. The state senator who bought the goat at auction agreed to let it live out its days eating weeds. But sheriff’s deputies drove 500 miles to kill the goat and teach a 9-year-old a lesson.
