Let Noirvember begin…
Let’s see how far I make it in completing my “100 greatest film noirs” list.
Haven’t really made an effort since 2022, but this is a great year of new beginnings.

Come for the animation, stay for the tangents…
You guys should be watching the DC Fan-imated Stream, not just for the DCAU talk, but the random banter @ScottDC27 and I have, like what is discussed here.
Winos on a Budget is our new band name...
I can recommend our DC Fan-imated Stream special episode where I broke down ALL the differences between the two edits for @TheFilmJunkee:

The acclaimed "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" animated movie was originally slated to premiere on this day (Oct. 31) back in 2000. However, demanded edits to trim the violence and ease the tone resulted in the film being pushed back until Dec. 12, 2000. #BatmanBeyond #Batman
Now Watching:
Dr. No (1963)
dir. Terence Young
Declan wanted to start watching James Bond, do we start at the beginning!

My one memory of Sir Patrick Stewart in person was seeing him live at the Apollo Theatre in London in March of 2005. He was performing David Mamet’s A LIFE IN THE THEATRE opposite Joshua Jackson. It just hit me that I was lucky enough to experience him on the stage.
I’m going to honor him the only way I can.
Earl Grey. Hot.
