Saddened by the loss of Dolores Huerta, a tireless champion for justice and equality. I had the privilege of meeting her many times and marching alongside her. She was always kind and humble, and her legacy will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace.
It’s #UnitedAgainstHateWeek with activities happening across the South Bay, including a food drive. On Friday, October 23, everyone is encouraged to wear yellow as a visible show of solidarity against hate and discrimination.

Imagine waking up and turning on the tap...but nothing comes out.

Heartbroken at Dolly Parton’s passing. She inspired millions with her talent, generosity, authenticity and grace. A true American icon and national treasure, she never lost sight of who she was. We lost one of the greats today, but her legacy will live on for generations.

Friendly reminder: Your street is closer to the ocean than you might think! Every piece of trash, motor oil, or pet waste left on the sidewalk washes directly into our storm drains and out to sea. Let's do our part to protect our local beaches and marine life.
