I think he might have called this himself, right? Gutsy. Love it.
At first I thought how reckless is it for Ole Miss to call a fake punt deep in their own territory. But no, you can see the moment the punter realized Texas had no defenders on the right side of the field and he could go for a stroll.

Doesn't get much clearer than that! Fixing the criminal litigation exception was your plan all along, wasn't it, @blakearcuri ! lasc.org/opinions/2026/NR048…

Apropos of nothing, @NOLAnews has reported doggedly for 2 years on Meta's Richland Parish data center. Since the project became public 2 years ago, the paper's reporters have broken news at each step -- from questions about water use to NDAs to a power plant acquisition. Thread:

This afternoon in a senate office. Angry Staffer: You told me he went to a Hawks game. Chat GPT: My search indicated he went to a Hawks game. AS: No, he went to a Hawkeyes game. Chat GPT: You are right. I should have caught that earlier. Thank you for pointing that out.
A phenomenal moment in the Senate. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., claims he has evidence Jack Smith went to a HAWKS game in Atlanta. Smith denies it. Schmitt declares he has busted Jack Smith for perjury. Smith, vexed, says he went to HAWKEYES game in Maryland. Watch the whole thing:

Can't make this up: -Boosie's attorney during a 2012 murder trial in Baton Rouge was current Orleans Parish DA Jason Williams. -Williams defended the SEC vs. athletes seeking an injunction in a Baton Rouge court last week. -Boosie walked with Lane Kiffin into today's LSU game.

This pitch was ~50mph, middle middle. Wearing kevlar. Eyes of the world on him. From the rubber (60’6”away). Go outside today and try to throw a fastball for a strike from even 46’ away, wearing your most comfortable tee. Let me know how it goes.
Still hits the same

I think the thing that has been, shall we say, gently pointed out by folks like @mckenzielaw (and thought by many others) is that the SEC's errors in filing the lawsuit are so elementary that it saps a lot of legitimacy from an otherwise trailblazing and interesting if not self-destructive argument. I just don't get it -- some of these things aren't easy but they are easy to research or even.... gasp.... *google.* So why lose the high ground over an extra hour or two? SEC seems defensive, and LSU doesn't seem scared at all to look under the hood. I think the grand bargain that comes really may involve higher powers like Congress (where there are a few LSU grads in power, I hear). But just my take. #lsu #sec #septembermadness

The legal proceeding is of importance - LSU aside - as the judicial decision may shape the future of any conference-wide governance model, determining if a league can enforce its rules on member schools. It is imperative to establish precedent. bit.ly/4xRdO3O

Co-sign on all areas including *but not limited to* lack of falling from turnip truck in Concordia Parish
Follow this guy @mckenzielaw if you're interested in the @SEC v. @LSUfootball drama. Apparently he didn't just fall off a turnip truck in Ferriday.
