Don’t let Stonewall CEO Simon Blake rewrite history…
This is the charity that pushed the idea of “trans toddlers”.

We are so lucky in the UK to have gay organisations like @AllianceLGB arguing against the state-enforced sterilisation of children (aka the Conversion Practices Bill). Other countries from Europe to Australia were not so lucky.
This afternoon our Vice Chair, Dermot Kehoe, gave evidence at the Joint Committee on the draft Conversion Practices bill.
Parents should never feel afraid to tell their child “I don’t believe you’re born in the wrong body… but I do believe you’re my gay son and I support you in that”.
You can watch the whole meeting here:

If you still think trans is just a matter of “being kind” listen to this.
“We could amend this Bill here, there and everywhere, carve out this, tweak that, but at the end of the day the government would still be passing a Bill that says there’s one area, and one area only, of medical practice where you could get prosecuted if you put a foot wrong. That won’t be a chilling effect, that’ll be a deep freeze”
Magnificent from @Jebadoo2 #BinTheBill

God damn, what an honour it is to call Dennis a friend. See this, @LouisTheroux, John Ronson, @BillBailey , Amelia Bulmore? This is what integrity looks like while you all cheer on the mutilation of children
“So poorly drafted and so incoherent and spreads the net of criminal liability so widely that it cannot be rescued.”
Gay Men’s Network’s @Jebadoo2 delivers a damning verdict on the Government’s proposed ‘conversion practices’ offence.

Stonewall want parents locked up if they don’t want their child to castrate themselves - many of whom will grow up gay.
It’s rare to hear from Stonewall in a public forum - sunlight is the best form of disinfectant.
As a gay man they make me sick - they are pure evil.

Today I am musing, as I have regularly since 1995, about how ITV got away with this.

Happy Birthday Dad xxxxx
Today is my Dad’s 90th birthday, and I have a few words I’d like to say on this special occasion.
There is no man in the world I admire more than my Dad, and I have met many remarkable people. He’s the only man I’ve always wanted to be just like, but never will be. He’s my role model, my hero, a shining example of what it means to be a truly good man, and the best father anyone could wish for.
I think many of us want to see our Dad as a kind of knight in shining armour. Mine is. One evening many years ago I called him from somewhere far away. He dropped everything and flew half way round the world to help me. No questions asked, didn’t even finish his dinner. He turned up the very next day in some dubious corner of the world, unshaven, almost dead on his feet, because that’s what a Dad does.
He is the only man whose praise made my efforts worthwhile, whether it be building a sand castle when I was four, or walking on stage at Wembley when I was sixty four. To see pride in his eyes meant the world to me. Still does. Always will.
I love my Dad more than words can say, always have. He is everything a good man should be and I am proud to be his son. More than proud, I am honoured to be his son.
Happy 90th Dad. Xxxxxxxxx

A reminder
The IRA murderers watched him place the baby in a carry cot on the back seat of his car.
They waited till he got in the drivers seat then opened fire from behind the vehicle in the full knowledge that the bullets would pass through the baby before killing her dad.
There are scum in this world who think the IRA were freedom fighters.
They were cold blooded killers
Been to a talk at the Royal Society of Chemistry by the Astronomer Royal about recent discoveries concerning the moons of Jupiter and Saturn. Fascinating stuff and the buffet was excellent.
And you can bet the muppet who first brought this up at a meeting is feeling very proud of themselves.
