HaĂŻti x Louisiana. Our co-founder Scott spoke on @LAConsidered (@NPR) alongside @maxdbh to discuss Haitiâs role in shaping Louisiana. Weâre proud to highlight this important connection and look forward to seeing Maxâs upcoming exhibit in New Orleans.

Today on @LAConsidered, we get an update on the week in politics. Plus we speak with the @nousfoundation to learn more about the history of Haitian immigration in the U.S. and how the country has inspired food, language and politics in Louisiana.

Thrilled to be have been appointed Commissioner on the Vieux Carré Commission, which preserves the FQ. Living in the French Quarter has been a highlight of moving back to New Orleans after Paris. Very excited to work alongside Dir. Bryan Block and my fellow Commissioners.

Imagining the challenges (costs, etc.), but credit to #Olympics2024 for building an Olympic village (using eco construction) on a former industrial site that afterwards will become a neighborhood. With a housing shortage and vacant land, New Orleans could achieve a similar goal.
