Kevin Williamson needs FULL creative control over the script for #SCREAM8. No rewrites, no interference, no studio meddling. Let the man do his thing and bring back the magic that made the first four movies so iconic. 🎬🔪 #SCREAM

Hello again, Sidney. 🔪📞 Neve Campbell told the AP in London she's back for SCREAM 8. Her exact words: "I'll be in it." And she's busy: Neve also joins Season 2 of Netflix's spy thriller BLACK DOVES. Sidney with a security clearance? Ghostface should be worried. 🎥 @apnewsentertainment / @sianwatson #Scream8 #NeveCampbell #SidneyPrescott

I really hope Kevin writes the script. As the creator of Scream, he’s the one person I trust to understand its DNA. That said, the Soskas have been acting like they’re directing it already. If it was all just for attention, that’s honestly embarrassing. 😭

Yeah give Kevin, THE CREATOR OF SCREAM, full script control. He deserves it.

To address a few questions: From what I understand, the Zuckermans are out, with Kevin Williamson set to co-write #Scream8. I genuinely don’t know who’s directing, but I’m told it’s not the Soskas. Nothing against anyone involved. Just sharing what I know, nothing more.

Agreed. Nobody understands the DNA of Scream better than its original writer. Kevin should return to writing while someone else takes the director’s chair. That’s the best of both worlds.

WOW! Kevin Williamson might be returning?! That’s AWESOME! I thought he wasn’t. Makes sense as he teased #SCREAM8 ideas he had in mind. Please have Kevin write this on his own, and DO NOT rush him!!

Interesting developments surrounding #Scream8. The Production Weekly listing contains some inaccuracies. The Soskas aren’t directing, to my knowledge. As for the writing credits, let’s just say someone who knows the story inside out may be returning to the scene of the crime.

Sidney Prescott haters don't make sense to me at all. It's kind of weird at this point, especially when $200 million worth of SCREAM 7 tickets came for HER. I can't wait for her SCREAM 8 return. ❤️

The Scream 8 announcement that could be coming this month is a director announcement. The rumor does not originate from a source with a great track record.
