We need more *real* anime-only content creators, not this "here's all of the cut content and the actual story of the series, and not this watered-down anime version you like!" shit we have now
Give me creators willing to treat the anime as its own separate piece of art
Long shot but maybe someone here can help me. There was a Breaking Bad parody in Lost in Memories where Otto and Subaru make mayo. I watched a translated version of it on YouTube and I can’t find it again. Does anyone know where it is?! I was hoping to use it in a video
Do you think the tracksuit Subaru wears in Arc 1 could be the same as the one he wears in Arc 5? I noticed some startling similarities. They’re nearly identical, with the same color scheme, same seam patterns, and both have the same N logo printed on. Anyone else notice this?
My first attempts at writing something about Arc 7 were back in 2023. A few parts in the new script were taken straight from this document. It's not an exaggeration to say I've been trying to express my thoughts about Arc 7 for over 3 years now!
Now starting: Chainsaw Man Part 2. My YouTube comments have told me it's a "major flop," there's "no real point in reading" it, and they "feel bad for me." I'm excited!
I feel like I've talked exhaustively about the writing and directing of Arc 2 at this point, but there's also just a certain feeling. Arc 2 is quaint. There's a focus on Subaru being an out of place goofball doing small scale work. He almost feels like Fry from early Futurama
If anyone wants to learn some screenwriting techniques from studying anime, do I know a good series of videos for you!
Inde Navarette says she studied anime — including ‘Jujutsu Kaiden’ and ‘Demon Slayer’ — to learn more about screenwriting & storytelling.
“I learned about timeline and about storytelling—how a person can have a monologue at the beginning of the episode that matters two episodes later or even at the end, and that person's dead and you don't learn it until then—and then attaching that to my screenwriting and trying to learn that way.”

Holy moly, I got 1K likes on a YouTube post just saying I'm going to do a video on Arc 7. Arc 7 got some real motion!
Every first time #ReZeroArc7 reader showing up on my timeline right now:
My Arc 7 video is the happiest I’ve ever been writing a script. I seriously can’t stop smiling. I can’t wait to share what Arc 7 means to me
When shit gets serious in the Re:Zero novels and he starts spiraling out, the narration always gives you a sentence like “Natsuki Subaru was like a plastic bag, drifting through the wind, wanting to start again——" and you start sobbing every time. He really is like that
It's hilarious that the YouTubers with the three biggest Aldebaran character analysis videos all have completely different takes on who he is lol. If you aren't a reader, your larp will be determined solely on whether you watched Jakez, Asa, or me
#rezeroarc9 #rza9 OH MY GOD, I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING. Huge Arc 9 spoilers in the replies, and it has to do with a certain phrase Al uses in Arc 7. Don't read the replies to this unless you're caught up!
#rezeroarc7 Subaru and Al's conversation in Ch 31 is one of the best in the series. There's so much subtext to read into in everything Al is saying. It's unclear how much is genuine, how much he really knows, how much he's actually talking about himself, and his true intentions
On the way to Chaosflame, Subaru is confused when Al says the phrase "a giant's thrust" is from his hometown. They're both from Japan, but Subaru has never heard that phrase before, so how does that make sense? Well...
