If you’re of a certain age, you probably still believe this is what Saturday afternoons should sound like. And you’re right.

Amazing Stats:
In 1985 (including the postseason), John Tudor pitched more than 7 innings on 23 occasions. In the 42.1 IP he had in the 8th inning or later, he had a 0.85 ERA.
And before WS Game 7, he was 8-1 with a 0.97 ERA when pitching on 3 days rest!

#MailDay-3 Things:
1) Arrived a couple months late after being lost in the mail.
2) Guessing the seller never would’ve guessed which cards were going to actually move this lot.
3) Wondering if there are any 1985 Topps Mike Scioscia/Rafael Santana #OneCardCollections out there.
Let’s say we call the 1985 #WorldSeries a best of five, okay?

OTD in 2015 (at this exact moment!), Marty & Doc (and somehow the girl from The Karate Kid) show up in Hill Valley, CA. It’s all chronicled in Back to the Future 2…to which I took Erin on our first date, almost 37 years ago. If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t change a thing!
