We did it!!! 2768 steps up the Manitou Incline!! Jon and I made it to the top in 2 hours and 16 min. We took breaks and didn’t die. It's about 0.9 miles up with ~2,768 railroad-tie steps and 2,000 ft of gain.

Steep and short: averages 41% grade, hits 68% near the top Then there is a 3 mile downhill hike that makes you question that. The way down was beautiful, but no more less painful. Jon and I started working out about 6 weeks ago, but we are still very sore.
