Arm relaxed, shoulders forward, straight steps, good line, absolutely transformed my punting. I preach it to anyone I punt with.
I hate even speaking on this - but it more makes me laugh then anything
Today marks the 3rd time this month I have had one of my students ( 1 HS, 1 College, 1 Pro) go train / compete somewhere else & the feedback they get is something to the extent “what Aaron teaches doesn’t work, let’s change or why do you do that.”
#1 - if that happens at a camp you go to I appreciate you telling me. Especially when I can figure out WHO said it.
#2 - 4 of the current NFL punters are PuntFactory trained, 3 since HS (that’s 1/8 of the best in the world)
#3 - to me it immediately discredits the coach at that camp, especially knowing some of them are young & have been coaching for 5 mins
If you don’t like the arm relaxed, or the shoulders forward, or short steps, or taking good lines - DM me & I would be happy to chat.
these boys are 3 weeks from training camp & your insecurity as a coach doesn’t help them
