This week I had the fortune to begin a new role as the School of Advanced Study's inaugural William St Clair Fellow. Over the next five months I'll be spending more time in London researching the history of Mediterranean garrison libraries. Do get in touch if this is of interest!
The Fellowship presents a welcome, uncommon opportunity for ECRs whose reseach contributes to the work of the Institutes of Classical Studies, English Studies, and Language Cultures, and Societies. The cross-disciplinary scope reflects St Clair's own wide-ranging interests...
If you're interested in landscape, photography, or the history of travel to Greece, sign up to hear me talk about a new project I've recently begun in Athens this evening!
📢 Event Reminder!
Next week's UHS will be given by our Cary Student Sebastian Marshall, on photographs from the Society for the Promotion of Hellenic Studies image collection (view on BSA Digital Collections). Register now!
