Update: Anyone who has left LA and headed south. You are welcome at our restaurant, 16600 Pacific Coast Highway, 92649. We have a large parking lot, you can stay as long as you need and camp out. We will provide free meals for all of those affected. If anyone has any coordination in process for meals, supplies, etc for LA, reach out to me, we will provide as much food to deliver and arrange supplies as well.

Healing can be challenging, especially when your inner child wants love, your teenage self wants revenge, and your current self just wants peace. Ultimately, the goal is to integrate these different parts of ourselves and get to the root of the problem. One size doesn't fit all.
As this fifth butterfly emerged from its cocoon yesterday, it exhibited a striking difference from its fellow winged companions. This little guy displayed an innate readiness to explore its surroundings without delay, expressing a desire to venture forth independently and, unlike its siblings, sought out no connection with meโฆ
I firmly believe in the principle of non-interference when it comes to handling these beauties so I respected his autonomy. ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ It is crucial to understand that these butterflies are not pets; they are rescued.
These kind of butterflies called the black swallowtails face challenges in the wild. They say only around 5-10% of swallowtail caterpillars reach adulthood in their natural habitat.
By rescuing these beauties, Iโm trying to give them a better shot at survival. Of course, once they are released, their fate rests in the hands of nature. I understand and make peace with the reality that not all of them may survive. However, by rescuing them, I hope to increase their odds of thriving and continuing the beautiful cycle of life. ๐๐๐ผ
