It’s ironic that Bitcoin Core devs like Jameson Lopp and Peter Todd got the @bcoreproject Twitter account suspended for “impersonating” Bitcoin Core but now they support @bitcoincore_ Twitter which is a clear impersonation of Bitcoin Core. #scumbags

Bitcoin is like the Internet in 1996 - if instead of building websites, everyone just bought up domain names and waited for their prices to moon. How is the ecosystem supposed to evolve, if nobody is using the tech for its purpose? Unless HODL turns into SPEDN, Bitcoin is a joke.

I completely understand why so many are upset about Twitter misappropriating the @Bitcoin acct. Twitter did the same to this acct twice after Core Devs reported this acct laying claim to “SegWit” open source tech. They prob did the same thing, saying Bitcoin Core owns Bitcoin.

Fun fact: Peter Todd was one of the devs that publicly said they reported this acct. Others included Wladimir van der Laan and Eric Lombrozo. They all conspired (with the help of many trolls) to report this acct to take it over under the guise that Bitcoin Core owns SegWit.
