Wait, so this is how it’s supposed to work? You ride for red? Shocking!
Angliru, Vuelta 2020
Sepp Kuss (who looked fantastic on this climb) sitting up, waiting, continually checking on and pacing his fully cracked teammate, Primoz, who was also in the red jersey 🔴

What’s with these companies closing valid accounts with no information and no recourse. Do better @fiverr !
After using their platform for beta reading for over a year, @fiverr have closed my account with zero warning or recourse.
Not only that, they've also closed the accounts of the two legitimate beta readers I've been using recently.
No idea why.
I'm really upset. @FiverrSupport
Twitter friends, we did it! My account is back! Thank you to everyone who reached out with ideas and support. It honestly does make a difference to know that in dark moments, there are people sending good thoughts. #SelenasBooksAreBack
BTW, if you run FB ads: I just got off a call with their support team. You must now turn off your ads at the Campaign, Ad Set and Individual ad level for them to actually be turned off and not charging you. Yay for clicks going to 404 pages at Amazon all week!
Essentially being accused of doing something so nefarious that it warrants shutting off your account, income, career but not telling the author why is a special kind of hell.
Day 4 - no resolution with @AmazonKDP What does a person have to do to get the attention of a human over there? Are there any humans left? Also, it appears that they’re still letting KU readers read my books. That can’t be correct, right?
I use a third party system to track my amazon royalties. I signed in today. Turns out that when Amazon terminates your account, they don't remove your books from KU subscribers' ereaders. But we no longer have an agreement for amazon to sell and distribute my books... #confused
Day 3 - nothing from @AmazonKDP about terminating my account with no warning and no further information. And consequently, no writing is being done either. Bright side: the latest Ted Lasso episode was the funniest yet! Go watch. #BringSelenasBooksBack
Just out of curiosity, is anyone keeping numbers of how many authors this is happening to at KDP? I know I have some analytical friends. :)

If anyone knows a tech reporter who wants a story, the bots have taken over Amazon's KDP account management and there is no meaningful human oversight*
* I think, this is just a theory
Replying to @evelynadamsFF
yeah...we have to be prepared to pivot, I guess. Live for today, plan for tomorrow (when KDP will randomly shut down a fourteen year old account for no good reason)
So when @AmazonKDP closes your account, they remove your access to your tax data for previous years, too. Am I understanding that correctly?
If you, like me, need a little laugh about all this KDP craziness, here you go. At the bottom of the Executive Customer Service email is a big blue button that says "Click here to rate our service." Now is probably not the time to send that to me.
What's more, authors have been telling @AmazonKDP for MONTHS how their service could be improved. How we can all do better and create a better system for readers. But they want me to rehash that after deleting my account?
Oh, Twitter. Do I have a story for you. The TL;DR version is: 38 books published over 14 years under 6 names and on Sunday, Amazon closed my publishing account. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. Follow along for another Adventure in Publishing.
