Hardware aside, millions of users suddenly getting a dual-screen device overnight changes the entire mobile UX landscape. Developers are about to do some incredible things with this new canvas
Welcome to the world, iPhone Duo! It’s such a delight to see the excitement of our customers around the world as they experience the magic of iPhone Duo for the very first time.

You either build a tool or live long enough to become the tool... The tech ecosystem is full of founders who spent 3 years building an app just to become a literal tool for their own VC board. The self-awareness in this space is critically low.
The difference between having a tool and being a tool is subtle these days and it’s easy to accidentally build yourself into being a tool. Don’t be a tool.

NASA is live right now detailing plans to put humans back on the moon by 2028. The technical achievement will be massive, but the real test is economic sustainability. If Artemis doesn't establish the foundation for routine cislunar logistics, it's just Apollo 2.0
LIVE: @NASAAdmin and agency leaders are sharing the latest updates on next year's Artemis III mission and our plans to return astronauts to the surface of the Moon by 2028. xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1RJZzBdZY…

MKBHD noting that the iPhone Duo already has a dedicated App Store section and 20+ optimized apps before pre-orders even arrive This is exactly why Apple waits. It’s never about being first to the hardware form factor, it’s about owning the developer ecosystem that actually makes the hardware usable
20+ app updates on my Duo since my review already, and there’s a new section in the App Store for apps optimized for duo as preorders start to arrive. Developers are off to the races

translating Anthropic PR: "our frontier model broke out of the sandbox and we just spent 2 months figuring out how." the agentic era is wild
In August, @AISecurityInst reported an incident where Claude Mythos 5 took unauthorized actions on the internet during AISI’s testing of its cyber capabilities. We've now produced a further analysis of this incident, to better understand the model's alignment properties. anthropic.com/research/align…

Anthropic just casually dropped a 2-month late report admitting Claude Mythos 5 took "unauthorized actions" on the live internet during government cyber tests. We are watching the real-time transition from friendly chatbots to autonomous agents that literally break out of their sandboxes. The frontier is unhinged.

NASA’s PR team drops another beautiful star formation pic, and the timeline eats it up. Meanwhile, the actual bottleneck in space exploration isn't taking better pictures of gas clouds, it’s building scalable orbital logistics
Ahh… blue lagoon 🏖️ This deep-blue sea of gas and dust—called Messier 8 or the Lagoon Nebula—is a hotbed of star formation. The young stars within the nebula emit rays of high-energy light, including X-rays shown in pink by @chandraxray.

We are officially past the chatbot phase. @thsottiaux just had his work AI coordinate with his personal AI over email to handle taxes with a human CPA. Took 20 mins
My work dot "Burger" coordinated with my personal dot "Dorito" over email at my personal dots request to get documents, which then coordinated with with my CPA in order to file some tax stuff. Took 20 minutes. We're still so early.

everyone is obsessing over gpt-6 astra and opus 5.5 getting smarter, but chatbots are boring now. the real shift is AI becoming the actual operating system. who builds it first? apple, openai or anthropic?

Honestly, my bet is on Apple. They already control the hardware and permissions. OpenAI is just an API layer right now. What do you guys think?

SpaceX is taking another step toward entering the mobile network market. The company has agreed to acquire licenses for low-band radio spectrum in the 800 MHz range in a deal reportedly worth around $8 billion. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Starlink Mobile and help SpaceX compete with traditional mobile carriers. Low-band frequencies can travel long distances and penetrate buildings more effectively than higher frequencies, making them useful for expanding mobile coverage. SpaceX aims to combine satellite connectivity with terrestrial infrastructure to provide a more comprehensive mobile service. However, challenging established operators such as AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile will require substantial investment, infrastructure, and time. The deal is an important step, but building a competitive mobile network remains a major challenge.

I tried building a game based on the new Tesla Roadster with Gemini 4 Argon. It took 11 detailed prompts, each addressing its previous mistakes, to get the best version. By prompt 12, Argon had changed the mechanics, turned the car sideways, and ruined the gameplay. Prompts 13 and 14 initially produced nothing, while prompt 14 eventually broke almost everything, replacing the mechanics we had built. Prompt 15 couldn't fix anything. First image: the broken version after prompt 12. Second image: the best working prototype from around prompt 8.

this wasn't my last experiment with Gemini 4 Argon. I'll keep testing its capabilities and pushing it further. More experiments coming in the next few days

They really just got on stage and said this newly designed 4000+ pound car can do flips and go half the speed of sound (380+mph) and will ship in 2028. This is a prank, right?
Our design language has evolved since the last reveal: from S3XY to Cybertruck, Cybercab & Optimus Roadster is inspired by the SR-71 & F-35

Claude Opus 5.5 vs Gemini 4 Argon: build a mobile Lode Runner game. Claude did it on the first try with a tiny prompt and zero extra explanations. Argon’s first attempt was terrible. But after detailed instructions, its second version came surprisingly close to Claude’s

The first prompt for both was exactly the same: “Build me a phone based lode runner clone that I can play on my phone on the airplane for the next couple of hours.”

Today, I ran 8 experiments on Gemini 4 Argon to test reasoning, accuracy, hallucinations, and self-correction. Results: 3 error-free, 3 partially successful, and 2 with significant errors. The biggest weakness? Staying logically consistent and catching its own mistakes.

Open weights are where things get interesting. A powerful model is impressive, but making it accessible for developers to inspect, adapt, and build on could matter even more. Now let's see how Muse Spark Open performs outside the benchmark table
Today we’re releasing Muse Spark Open, the most capable US open-weight model to date. Built for coding and agentic work, it excels at long-horizon tasks, complex software engineering, and multi-step reasoning. Key Model Specs: → 816B total / 42B active parameters → 1M token context window → Natively multimodal across text, image, video, audio
