I wanted to share this recognition because it reflects the work I care deeply about: standing up for rural Colorado, supporting small businesses, and doing everything I can to help our communities grow. Thank you to the @icbcolo for the 2026 Legislative Excellence Award.

Behavioral health is something I take very personally. Access to quality #mentalhealth care can make a profound difference in the lives of individuals, families, and entire communities. I was also honored to share this recognition with Rep. Gretchen Rydin.

Honored to be named a 2026 Legislator of the Year by the @EDCofCO. I’m especially grateful that my work on two bills—expanding affordable homeownership opportunities and reducing unnecessary red tape—was highlighted for helping #Colorado families and communities thrive. Thank you

During this weekend in the San Luis Valley, I had the honor of speaking with the Colorado Ag Leadership Program—the next generation of Colorado agricultural leaders. Their passion and commitment make me optimistic about the future of Colorado agriculture. #COAg

Today marks 239 years since the United States Constitution was signed. On September 17, 1787, 39 patriots signed the Constitution. Many risked their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor for Independence just years before, during the Revolution, immortalizing the essential principles of the rule of law, separation of powers, and federalism as the foundation of our Republic.

This Labor Day, we honor the hardworking Coloradans and hope everyone had time for well deserved rest with family. Cathy and I enjoyed the Veterans Memorial Car Show in Alamosa, I brought out my 1957 Chevy Cameo, and this weekend we had a great time at the Early Iron Car Show. 🇺🇸

This week, I had the opportunity to hear talented STEM students present their projects at the Colorado State Capitol. It was inspiring to see the next generation addressing real-world challenges through science and technology.

Honored to join today’s Centennial State Limited celebration in Antonito as we mark Colorado’s 150th anniversary. Standing in front of two steam locomotives both at least 123 years old is a powerful reminder of Colorado’s rich railroad heritage and legacy of the San Luis Valley.

Today we pause to honor Nicholas Dale, the 56-year-old firefighting pilot from British Columbia who lost his life while battling Colorado's Gold Mountain Fire. Every wildfire response depends on the courage of men and women on the ground and in the air who put themselves in harm's way to protect our communities. Their service and sacrifice should never be forgotten. Our thoughts are with Nicholas' family, friends, fellow firefighters, and the entire aerial firefighting community. Photo: @NewsCPR
