This year, Nebraska has experienced historic wildfires. I recently had the chance to tour some of the damage. I also met with heroic Nebraska firefighters who fought these fires. They shared how we can work together to support local law enforcement and recovery efforts.
Great to join Tech Nebraska this morning for a conversation about innovation and leadership.
Nebraska has the workforce, resources, and grit to lead in technology in America and on the global stage.
Getting the Farm Bill done this year is a top priority. This bill would secure nationwide E15, support Nebraska’s wildfire recovery efforts, and prevent Communist China from buying our farmland.
It’s time to pass the Farm Bill.

Today my Omaha office received a letter with a powdery substance. The letter matches the description of letters sent to other congressional and state offices across the nation. Our team worked closely with Omaha PD, FBI, and Capitol Police. They confirmed the substance was not harmful. We are grateful for our law enforcement.

At our Ag and Energy Roundtable, @NEFarmBureau along with representatives from Nebraska's Ag, Energy, and Business organizations had the great opportunity to talk directly with the Secretary about many Ag and energy issues facing Nebraska's farm and ranch families including the high cost of diesel fuel, biofuels, and energy development.
