Connecting more people to parks and nature has been a major component of the work I do as a New York State Senator.

Grateful for the opportunity to speak at Saturday night’s tenant Town Hall mtg at 1199 Plaza in #EastHarlem. I am always happy to connect with residents & learn about the issues affecting their housing complex, & of the ways I can work with my colleagues to address those issues.

Great time last week with @CMJustinSanchez at @NYBG for the annual Fiesta de Flores National Hispanic Heritage Celebration. A wonderful cultural festival filled with music, food, and dance. Congratulations to all the event’s honorees!

Our pets bring so much joy and happiness to our lives, and it’s critically important that we give them all that they need to be healthy and happy!

We were able to assist 110 families and provided 1,235lbs of dry pet food for dogs and cats, 12 bags of litter, and 120 cans of cat food.
My sincere gratitude to the amazing team from @NYCACC for supplying the pet food and expertise.
