The IEC in Mpumalanga has confirmed receipt of the EFF’s formal complaint against the ANC and the Provincial Government, following allegations of the abuse of state resources and a breach of the Electoral Code of Conduct.
The complaint includes allegations against ANC District Mayor Terror, who allegedly used an event attended by a foreign Head of State to campaign for the ANC.
The EFF will ensure that these allegations are properly investigated and that those found to have violated the Electoral Code of Conduct are held accountable.
The ANC must learn that no political party is above the law, and that government platforms must never be used for partisan campaigning.
