Every night at 3:17 a.m., someone called my phone from my own number.
I never answered. I assumed it was a glitch until last night, when curiosity finally got the better of me.
I picked up.
For several seconds, there was only breathing.
Then a terrified voice whispered, “Listen carefully. In exactly one minute, someone will knock on your bedroom door.”
It was my voice.
I live alone.

You forgot some Women sell their own kids and abandon the kids you see in the motherless homes, also do countless ab*rtions.
You see how the aforementioned doesn’t give you an absolute profile of every woman, that’s the reasons i don’t indulge in gender wars, putting everyone under same umbrella cos of personal experience is below par, unless we’re just catching cruise.
Having exceptions doesn’t define or dispute facts.
My opinion was based on the context of the original post, not on the premise of a gender war which is where you’re driving at, and i don’t indulge that cos I have men and women in my life who has played huge roles on my way here.

She never did.
Eventually, I stopped expecting anything from her.

She looked at the shoes in her hands.

I should have closed the door.
Instead, I asked her why she'd really come.
Her answer changed everything.
