Now that Trump is free from the sorcery of Susie Wiles and people are free to talk - I have a feeling he is discovering a lot of things about his situation for the first time. She clearly manufactured a fake reality around him. I think he was genuinely shocked when he realized how dissatisfied the base was with him after the election. It also explains a lot of the disconnect we were seeing in his confident public comments that contradicted our reality. What a mess she and her cronies created.

James Talarico, a Democrat, is quoting Scripture in his victory speech, and the crowd is cheering. Democrats don’t hate religion. We hate watching people weaponize it. Faith isn't the problem. Using God as a weapon against your neighbors is.

Thank you, TX-32, for putting your trust in me and electing me as your next congressman. On election night, I spoke about what this victory means, not just for our district, but for the future of our country. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but I meant what I said on Tuesday night. We are Americans, and Americans fight. I wanted to share my full election night remarks with you. Thank you again for the honor of serving and fighting along side you. I will make you proud.

The next question is, why am I attacking the Trump administration? Because Susie Wiles is trying to purge Pete Hegseth and to diminish, demote Stephen Miller and to tarnish JD Vance. Unity was critical before the election. We lost. Now we fight it out for survival with internal rivals. This is what happens when you lose.
Captive Dreamer is obviously correct on this. I've obviously taken the L publicly. But I disagree with the accusation of "sycophant". My position is intellectually consistent, even if nobody bothers to honestly engage with my worldview. Should I be frustrated that everyone misunderstands my position and then attacks me based on some oversimplified caricature? No, this is Twitter where everyone reads the first 2 sentences of a tweet on the toilet and then types up an angry reply to a thread they didn't finish reading. I'm being accused of dishonesty and inconsistency by people who don't understand what I'm saying, don't particularly care about the nuances of geopolitics and macroeconomic supply chains, and don't remember my explicit public previous statements. And people are accusing me of lying or flip-flopping when they don't remember what I said last month. Captive Dreamer is a good guy so this is not intended as a personal attack against my longtime friend (who I have always supported). I think Captive Dreamer is accurately expressing the popular consensus. Let me refresh everyone's memory on what I've said. I like the Iran War. It was a big military success. I remain a fan of the Iran War. It was a huge victory. We defeated a country of 90 million Iranians and we lost 20 soldiers. It's one of the biggest military victories of all time, up there with the Maduro kidnapping operation. The Iran War was a huge political failure. It was massively unpopular. Everybody hates it. There is a difference between a tactical military success and a domestic political campaign. You can win the war and immediately be thrown out of office, in the style of Winston Churchill. "Winston Churchill’s 1945 electoral defeat stands as history's premier example of how achieving a monumental military victory does not guarantee domestic political survival. Just two months after Nazi Germany surrendered in May 1945, ending World War II in Europe, the British public decisively voted Churchill and his Conservative Party out of office in a landslide election." The American economy has been dead since 2008. Nobody can admit this because they are all fucking complicit. My comparison to the Iran War would be the Battle of Arginusae in 406 BC during the Peloponnesian War. The Athenians defeated Sparta in a military battle. They sailed home and the angry democracy of Athens executed their admirals who won the battle. Democracy is a stupid system, guys. I don't know what to tell you. You cannot run a global military empire and give control of strategic military decisions to bored housewives and soccer moms. Our system is even dumber than that with the combination of open borders, a welfare state, and birthright citizenship allowing tens of millions of foreigners to vote on whether America is allowed to win a war. Sycophant? Okay guys I've been saying the same thing for months but nobody remembers.

The purpose of the Susie Wiles campaign is that right now President Trump is deciding whether to fire Susie Wiles or to fire Pete Hegseth. A lot of people from the Trump admin are about to get purged. We need to make sure Susie Wiles takes the fall on this.

DeSantis was right to fire this worthless grifter. What has been the result of the vaunted Susie Wiles as Chief of Staff? The most self-destructive 2 years in Republican history. But hey, at least she got her daughters cushy lobbyist jobs in DC.

They're not going to care. Every BlueAnon and Democrat politician I've seen has gone full-on Tolkien Orc, doing their best "LOOKS LIKE MEAT'S BACK ON THE MENU, BOYS" impersonations. They only care that they've been given power again, and they can't wait to abuse it. The people who abstained or voted for them, though? They're already going "Noooooo! We voted for you because we wanted you to fix the economy!" Saw a bunch of that in reply to one politician the other day. What the fuck, guys? Is the nation's collective memory that short that few remember how gleefully Team Blue made average American lives miserable if they weren't part of that sociopolitical tribe? So many really forgot during Hurricane Helene, how FEMA employees were directed to NOT give aid to (suspected) Team Red voters, all while BlueAnons on TikTok cackled with glee over all the suffering? Well, congrats, you're likely going to get to see it again. They haven't made it at all a secret that they plan to double, triple down on things like that. I fully expect more than to be put on a government watchlist just because I bought sporting goods; "Liberals get the bullet too" and all that. And you can bet the Democrats will do all they can to make sure this "blue mud flood" stays permanent, like what happened to California.
It's going to be super funny when lobotomites realize this election was a referendum on the economy and not an endorsement of the social ideas that liberals call “common decency”

He was an UNBELIEVABLY destructive force on everything this term. No on the BBB. Calling all his colleagues “pedo protectors” and the administration the “Epstein administration.” Defaming innocent people as pedos on the House floor. Constant jewsperging. And then lying about it all during his primary and pretending he and Trump were “working together” I actually do want to rebuild some bridges with the libertarians but the Massie template has to be scrapped
I adore Massie. He was my favorite Congressman. 2025-2026 Massie was the worst version of him by far. If he ends up President somehow, I suppose it'd be worth it. But he won't. Which means he did a tremendous amount of damage to America to accomplish precisely nothing.

Right, saving your son and destroying the Emperor to allow Good to win isn’t redeeming. This is why leftists are cancer.
No, just those of you that think saving your son redeems you after you spend decades killing millions of people and oppressing trillions of others.

Hey Texas! 2,900,000 brand new voters registered to vote Without US citizenship!!! This is how you lost Texas by allowing potential illegals and non-citizens to vote Democrat You’re not angry enough, Texas Demand an investigation and secure your damn election
🚨Two numbers from Texas that don’t pass the smell test: Gina Hinojosa just got 5.23 million votes for governor. That’s more than any gubernatorial candidate in modern Texas history — higher than Abbott’s 4.66M peak in 2018 and 1.68M more than Beto got in 2022. James Talarico got 5.45 million for Senate. That’s only about 940k short of Trump’s entire 2024 presidential total in Texas… in a midterm. Republican raw votes stayed flat. Democratic votes exploded. Midterm turnout somehow produced presidential-level Democratic numbers. Totally normal. Nothing to see here.

As an Iranian who has been closely following US politics from the outside over the past two years, let me tell you what was the reason behind the midterm election results in my opinion. Many were blaming the Iran war. The war in Iran was essentially a proxy war whose battlefield happened to be in Iran, but behind the scenes, a complex network of global powers was involved. China, Russia, Arab nations, the Democrats, and most importantly, the UK and European liberals were the lifelines and supporters of this regime, they had no intention of ever letting the Islamic regime in Iran go. The Islamic regime functioned as their tool, their financial cash cow, and their asset in the region, to entangle the US in the region and weaken it. Trump confronted and stood against this entire network. He knew the regime was holding the Strait of Hormuz hostage, but he had the courage to step up, take the risk, and push forward. In response, they had no tools left except the narrative war. A big sophisticated network started warmongering rhetoric and propaganda. Beyond the mainstream media, they even recruited right-wing podcasters like @TuckerCarlson , who suddenly flipped their positions and began spreading false narratives. One of their primary tactics was stoking antisemitism and exploiting societal sensitivities, repeating lies until they were accepted as absolute fact. They kept claiming this was Israel’s war, which it simply wasn’t. I grew up in Iran and was forced to chant "Death to America" every morning at school, but I never once said "Death to Israel." This regime was obsessed with US, you are just so lucky you got Israeli intelligence in keeping you updated on the threat. Without Israel, you may had learned about it after a nuclear 9/11. This was America’s war, a fight against a system that was being weaponized to undermine the United States. As for the necessity of this conflict, Trump had known for years (dating back to his first term) what needed to be done with this regime. Why this timing? Because the people of Iran rose up in January 2026. If you had paid attention, the military buildup started immediately afterward because any meaningful action had to tap into the energy and courage of the Iranian people. No one in the media tells you that the Islamic regime massacred 75,000 people in Iran, and suddenly that horrific atrocity became a non-issue, completely brushed aside by those who are obsessed with Gaza. The fearmongers constantly tried to claim that this is just another "forever war," when in reality, Trump was actively preventing a repeat of the Iraq and Afghanistan disasters. What happened back then was a sudden, uncalculated collapse with no plan for the aftermath, plunging those countries into chaos and trapping America in a quagmire. But this time, Trump was handling it in a very controlled manner, applying limited, gradual pressure to steadily weaken the regime so the people could take their country back themselves, without needing any American boots on the ground. They knew full well that there were no boots on the ground in Iran and that their claims were baseless, yet they intentionally made mountains out of molehills to distort public opinion and hence bail out the regime. But it changes nothing for @realDonaldTrump , he finishes what he starts, and this will become his lasting legacy. Sadly, by making these choices, Americans have deprived themselves of domestic progress Trump could have offered, and even worse, let the enemy within inside the Senate and the House. I truly hope this serves as a wake-up call so that by 2028, these lies won’t work on you anymore.
