Not everyone can publish under their real name.
Most sign-up forms ask for your email, phone and name, a record that can be hacked, sold or handed over.
On Serey you can create an account with no email, no phone and no name, and still publish.
Proud to partner with @tpro_network 🤝 Creators deserve to own their platform, content and audience, and together we're making that easier. Welcome aboard! teapaw.org/tpro_network/status/21…
TPRO Network and @Serey_Official are partners. 🤝
👉 Serey is a decentralized publishing platform where creators own their platform, content and audience: homepage, blog, newsletter, video and shop in one place, proof of authorship on Serey's own chain, and a Creator Ownership Program that gives creators a share in Serey's growth.
👉 The partnership in one line: AI and decentralized digital ownership, side by side. Serey shares TPRO Network with its community; TPRO brings creators and readers to Serey. Every Serey member can get a free TPRO NFT card and a seat at The Desk until 31 December.
How it works, in one article: the link is in the first reply.

Good news first: AO3 says no fanworks were lost. Still, weeks offline shows how much of a writer's work can sit on one site. Keep your own copies of your stories, a second place readers can find you, and if you reused your AO3 password, change it. teapaw.org/Dexerto/status/2116950…
Many animation channels losing monetization under the same "Misleading Family Content" label looks like a rule problem, not a creator problem. A cartoon isn't automatically kids' content. If it hits you: appeal, ask for a human review and keep your project files.

🚨 YOUTUBE IS DEMONETIZING AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY OF ANIMATORS. AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT.
This is bigger than one channel. Bigger than one appeal. An alarming number of animation creators are losing their YouTube monetization under the same "Misleading Family Content" policy.
My channel, Pivot Master, has been demonetized for almost 3 MONTHS. And I'm far from the only one.
Here are just some of the affected creators:

More than 29 creators, probably way more that I am not aware of. Countless hours of animation. Years of hard work. And livelihoods being affected.
Animation does NOT automatically mean children's content.
Many of us create content for general audiences, yet our channels are being classified under a policy that we believe does not accurately reflect our work.
And what happens when we appeal?
Automated responses. Rejections. Copy-paste explanations. And creators left fighting to prove that their own content has been misunderstood.
We're want TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND GENUINE HUMAN REVIEWS.
@TeamYouTube @YouTube, please stop treating these as isolated cases.
LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE.
We want our channels reviewed fairly. We want clear explanations. And if these demonetizations are mistakes, we want our monetization restored.
To every animator affected: PLEASE SPEAK UP.

Let's make sure this issue cannot be ignored any longer.
OUR CHANNELS ARE OUR YEARS OF HARD WORK. THEY DESERVE A FAIR CHANCE.
Explore With Us got its monetization back after fans pushed back. Still, one review cut off income for a 7.6M-subscriber channel overnight. A place of your own where people can follow and support you isn't paranoia. It's insurance.

Platforms close. Links break. Years of writing can disappear with them.
On Serey, one switch when you publish sends a copy of your post to Arweave, a public network built for long-term storage. And you can export your posts and subscriber list at any time.

YouTube now has 150M+ subscribers next to its huge ad business. Even the biggest ad platform leans on people paying directly.
Creators can learn from that: ad income moves with every algorithm change. People who choose to support you are far steadier. teapaw.org/THR/status/21157908559…
YouTube now has more than 150 million subscribers to its YouTube Premium and YouTube Music services, solidifying the Google-owned video platform as a juggernaut not only in the video advertising space, but in the subscription space as well. hollywoodreporter.com/busine…
Readers paying for work they could read for free is one of the best signals a writer can get. People don't only pay for access. They pay to keep someone they trust doing the work. Free reach plus an easy way to support you often beats a hard paywall. teapaw.org/SheaSerrano/status/211…
Subscription money shouldn't sit in a platform's wallet while you wait to be paid. On Serey, readers pay into your own Stripe account. You hold the funds, the subscriber list and the exit door.

Losing a third of paid subscribers is brutal, but the lesson isn't that newsletters are over. It's that one inbox on one platform is a fragile business. Writers who hold up mix formats, talk to readers directly and keep their subscriber list portable. teapaw.org/TheAnkler/status/21151…
“Newsletters are cooked,” says Taylor Lorenz, who has lost a third of her paid subscribers recently. Natalie Jarvey speaks with Substack's Hamish McKenzie, Beehiiv's Tyler Denk and top writers about the now-tough newsletter business mrf.lu/2XCVy
