Casual reminder- the term "sex work" was coined by Carol Leigh, aka the Scarlot Harlot.
Leigh was known for her generosity and willingness to support the sex work community. She is especially known for her time working with direct action groups that supported outdoor workers.

Closing down websites where sex workers are able to advertise themselves independently will force sex workers back into brothels and exploitative labour relationships with bosses.
Again, policies made about sex work w/o input from sex workers create conditions for exploitation.
