Could MLS begin the season with replacement referees? Sources tell me & @tombogert that negotiations between PRO & PSRA aren't going well — that a work stoppage feels "imminent", with the CBA expiring on Jan. 15. Many more details, on @TheAthleticSCCR: theathletic.com/5182033/2024…

MLS referees work stoppage ‘imminent’ amid ongoing CBA negotiations: Sources

MLS could be forced to use replacement refs at the start of the season if the work stoppage drags on.

Brutal final result tonight, but Australia and New Zealand have been outstanding hosts of this @FIFAWWC. No regrets about coming down here – at Melbourne, Victoria

Crazy that the Galaxy, Nashville, Portland, Minnesota, RSL, and Vancouver can all still be the 7 seed to face @AustinFC in the 1st round

Love see a reloaded @scfreiburg side dominating this second half in Augsburg. Fun side that hopefully is deep enough to handle the @Bundesliga_EN and @EuropaLeague

Would love to see all 47 MLS and Liga MX teams in the tournament. Throw in the @USLChampionship winner to make spot 48 for an evenly sized tournament

2023 Leagues Cup latest - 77 total matches - 15 host cities, World Cup style - 15 groups with 3 teams each - June and July being looked at - 3 CCL spots on the line Having host cities and not letting MLS clubs all play home games vs Liga MX clubs is a good step.

So if the Big 12 and Pac 12 merge, we could theoretically have an Ohio State vs Cincy Rose Bowl.
Kudos to the @ChicagoFire! See @austinfc, it ain’t hard and you could even hear the applause here for this billboard and the statements in English and en Español with explicit ties to LGBTQ+ rights and Pride Night

In the last year, I've talked to a lot of people that have decided to leave Texas or not come back for policy reasons—all ages, all backgrounds. That's picked up in the last month. It's really demoralizing.
Kind of crazy to see both of my alma maters win the @LDirectorsCup @TuftsAthletics @TexasLonghorns

Tufts' athletics doesn't get a lot of attention because the University plays in Division III and is known largely for its academics. But the school's teams were, cumulatively, the very best in the nation in Div. III. Go you Jumbos! #Tufts #NCAA #college now.tufts.edu/2022/06/16/tuf…
