Doodling him a bit more, I've settled on his name being Hermes. He's a Divine Tree fanatic over being a Golden Order person, and still in the Lands Between. Cast Minor Erdtree to stop him from aggro. Personality wise, he's a lot like Kood, cares about etiquette (but he freaky)

So technically, by hooking up with Heptá, Messmer is still The Impaler and following through, just through malicious compliance ☝️

I think I'm calling him Hermes 🤔, Heptá's name is not truly "Heptá" that's the name she picked to "start anew" but you know what it's on-brand for ER to have some naming conventions specially for nobles. I think you can guess what name Heptá could have had before lmao
